I've been looking through some recent history lately and watching some of the old, classic fights and I noticed a guy that came up a number of times as an opponent against some of the truly great fighters of all time. He lost every fight against these guys, obviously, but he fought so many of them. He was not what you would call a great fighter, but maybe he was a great test for a fighter.

I figure this guy must have been the perfect test for a prospect. A decent record, fought good opponents and could actually fight. He may very well be the greatest test fighter ever! The lost of guys he fought is staggering to say the least. If he had beaten each of them he may very well be the best of all time.
