    JMM vs Chris John

Who were the crooked judges in that fight? they had the press there and everything, as if they expected Chris John to win. Marquez clearly out boxed him and was chasing him by the end of the fight. That ref even tried taking a pt. away for some weak low blow and didn't even offer a warning. I always heard about this fight, what a joke.

If this fight happened in the states where winning gloves aren't the norm, John would have been knocked out. I feel bad for Marquez because he's a lot better than his resume states, he's never really been beaten, aside from Pacquiao vs Marquez 1 ( a fight that was ironically ruled a draw, but was really an error) The second Pacquiao fight he could have won or at least mustered a draw.

I have never seen the Freddie Norwood fight, but box rec says it was controversial. I hope he get's his big break or career defining win.

** His big break was Manny dropping his fanny too many times to count.

Don't think the John fight was considered controversial by the press who witnessed the fight. Not much to split between two reluctant counterpunchers, and you'd think with his experience he'd know not to give away his title for next to nothing, $30,000 bucks.

He turned down 3/4 million for the immediate Manny rematch. He and Berenstain have been whining about Manny ever since. He'll always be known as the 3rd Amigo since it was Barrera and Morales waging the huge battles against each other and other legends.

Now his burro has finally arrived in town and we'll see where he goes with it.

I've watched this fight countless times and JMM deserved the win no question, it was competitive but it was kind of like Erik Morales vs Manny Pacquiao 1 scoring wise.

Where you just knew JMM won by 2 or 3 rounds, like you knew that Erik Morales beat Manny Pacquiao even though it was competitive. Chris John is underrated though he is world class and i just wish he would step it up.

The Rocky Juarez fight is a decent start but he should be fighting bigger names than that. If only he took more risks to travel to the USA he could already be a big name.

But overall JMM won no question but i still think it shows Chris John was a quality fighter, but JMM did have the edge over him in that fight for certain but theres no way your gonna win.

A competitive fight over there it was a ****** move from JMM, turning down the Manny Pacquiao rematch. And accepting a 50k offer in a country where you have to kill the champion to win.

you don't think it was controversial? The fight was borderline ******ed the way they had all the cameras and everything after John won. How could they feel legit doing that. Even at the end of the fight John didn't have his hands up.

Him losing the Pacquiao fight wasn't a robbery, it was a split decision, the John fight is a robbery. The bias in Pac vs Marquez 2 was probably making up for the missed points that were not awarded to Pacquiao in the first fight by the judge.
