Of that bunch, prob Gatti, LaMotta or Ward.
The fighter with the best heart of all time is Joe Calzaghe.

I don't know, I think there were a few fighters that had a thing for livestock. Guess he changed his mind and decided to go with asking about "heart"

Gotta go with The Rock baby! No skills, no size, no grace, and yet he became the only undefeated champ in boxing. It was as if he loved pain.

Cute until you realize he did lose, For one Roland Lastarza beat him in their first about and so did Ezzard Charles, Ted Lowry a bum who came into their first fight with the incredible record of 59-48-9 beat him. Maybe you people should learn to read and look up these things. Getting gift wins because you are deal with the italian mafia really doesn't prove jack.

Anyway Rid**** Bowe showed Great heart in the Golota fights, Foreman showed great courage in his fights with Ron Lyle, Evander Holyfield, Michael Moorer, and Alex Stewart, Pierre Coetzer showed incredible heart in his fights with Bowe, Foreman and Bruno. Few humans could take that type of a beating and still be on their feet at the end. Julian Letterough always showed heart in his fights. Joe Frazier was mentioned already always showed heart. You could name countless other american warriors who showed great heart but never got credit for it because they were just that "American" but the list would be too long for me to type it all.

Honestly I dont know if you are praising Marciano or dissing him. Your like standing on both sides of the fence at once and its confusing. But if you are, Maciano never dealed with the Italian mafia. The mafia came to him and he told them "they were a disgrace to the Italian [race]." and threw them out of his hotel room because they would consider fixing fights.

Rocky never had fixed fights and never loss in his PROFESSIONAL career. He lost in his amatuer career but once he went pro, he could never be beaten.

Rocky probably had the most heart in my opinion. He was like Rocky Balboa(even though the movie wasn't based on him), he had no footwork, had no skill, or technique, and would defend punches with his chin. And it wasn't like he would just dominate, he was dropped numberous times in his career and then would come back with a Susie-Q to win the fight.

Anyway Rid**** Bowe showed Great heart in the Golota fights,
If Rid**** Bowe had half Marciano's heart and dedication he'd now be regarded as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, instead of a wasted talent who's more likely to be inducted to Burger King's Hall of Fame than the one in Canastota.

I'd be interested to know when and where you saw the first LaStarza fight, since I wasn't aware that film of it was even in circulation. In any case, he gave both LaStarza and Charles a rematch, and KO'd both.

Maybe Rocky Marciano should of had heart to fight guys who wernet pushing 40, and if Rid**** Bowe was white people would consider him a all time great. If Marciano was black he would be called a bum like like Marciano actually is.

Which is more impressive Rid**** Bowe beating a prime Holyfield or Marciano beating a shop worn Charles and a no talent loser like LaStarza? Are you trying to tell me a 6'5 240 pound Bowe wouldnt have beat LaStarza or Charles? Are you trying to tell me if Bowe would of fought the fighters Marciano fought he wouldnt have won them all? If Marciano would of fought the fighters Bowe fought he would have a losing record.

Anyway Bowe had enough heart to fight the 6'4 240 pound Golota and get the shyt kicked out of him and not quit. That takes heart. Fighting 40 year old men and punching them in back of the head like Marciano did most of time doesnt really take much courage. Watch some of his fights and maybe you would learn something.
