You are a fool. Tyson fought NOBODY until he fought Holyfield and he lost. The heavyweight division was dying a slow death when Tyson was around leading to the mess that it is today.

prime frazier had a great chin and was quite good defensively

excellent offensively too, and a real championship fighter who was strong all the way through the fight

i think frazier is good and tough enough to last the early tyson onslaught, and then starts pounding tyson down and consistently wearing him down with brilliant left hooks etc to take a late stoppage

tyson would freak out and do something really dumb once he realised he couldnt blow frazier out

guys like "the one" ruin Tysons name. I have a strong feeling people are voting against Tyson because of him. Frazier does not have an incredible chin, Foreman Koed him in 2 rounds and knocked him down multiple times. Foreman is a huge puncher, but Tyson is right behind him. He's got speed on his side to.

Frazier would head hunt off the bat against an opponent of his height, Tyson slips Frazier's hooks with ease, as does Frazier with Tyson's hooks. Tyson catches Frazier in round 3-4 with an upper cut and puts his lights out. that's my take. I can't see a 204 lb fighter who's smaller than Tyson, wear him out and win via UD, I don't see that (especially when you look at fights like Frazier vs Bonavena, which he won, but tasted the canvas a few times). I can only see one outcome and that's Tyson by KO and early.

Frazier's chin was fairly solid, but it wasn't concrete. Joe Bugner, who was a moderate puncher, was able to hurt him a couple of times in their '73 fight.

Most importantly, Frazier was a slow starter and could be vulnerable in the early rounds. Bonavena had him down twice in the second, Foreman had him down six times in the first two, and Ali had him hurt in the second round of their second fight.

Conversely, Tyson was at his most dangerous in the early rounds. I think he'd catch Frazier early and finish him before he had a chance to get smokin'. That's not a downer on Joe, who I like a lot, I just see Tyson as a bad match-up for him.

Frazier had the kind of heart that Tyson never once had in his entire career. And he'd be willing to go through hell to have his hand raised. Tyson would likely get frustrated if Joe survived his early onslaught, whereas Frazier would become more relaxed and ready to do the deed.

with that Mentality, Tyson would lose to everyone. Frazier did have more heart than Tyson. Tyson seemed to not have any other game plans if the fight dragged on. He would just wait for the 1 big KO or do enough to win rounds with his hand speed and control the fight. Sometimes skill and natural gifts are going to still dominate a fighter with great heart. I can't see a fighter that has gone down in early rounds before - stick with Prime Iron Mike, the king of early round agression. Look at Corrales vs Mayweather for example. Tyson by early ko, like I said before.
