Emmile is such an amazing person, such a loving soul. I don't care about his orientation, that's his business and people should stop fixating on it. I can assure you, he isn't the only gay boxer and certainly not the most notable.

People should look beyond that to see how great a guy he is.

Agreed. His personal buisness is his own. It doesn't detract one bit from the fighter or the person he was and is. To think otherwise is just plain close minded.

Regardless of what Emile did or didn't do outside of the Ring is of no relevance to his standing as one of the all time greats.

Despite his terrible ordeal with the death of Benny Kid Paret, he was able to
continue and become one of the boxing greats.
