Here's an interesting 'experiment' I made with Vitali fighting Samuel Peter in early 1900's film style:

      ** Excellent stuff my man.

Can't see the subtlety of Vitali's snap on his punches, but we can see Peter knocked about and figure it out.

I've seen some of those old tapes cleaned up and it's amazing what can be done. Of course never destroying the original copy, in fact making backups as it's the purest history.

Just waiting for someone to put a comprehensive set of cleaned old fights on a hard drive for me to buy and install in an old IBM I kept for just such a day.

Excellent video Manchine!! Hopefully some of the yahoo's on here will have a better understanding and appreciation of the "old timers" after seeing how much the film speed and picture from earlier era's can distort how a fighter really fought.

Not sure if I'll make a part 2 but it would include Joe Louis and the champions after him until the 70's.
Part 2 about Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, Jersey Joe Walcott, Rocky Marciano, Floyd Patterson, Ingemar Johansson, Sonny Liston, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier and George Foreman.

                    Mike "The Bodysnatcher" McCallum tribute:

                    Part 1:

                    Part 2:

I had great difficulties uploading this one.

The tribute was a bit rushed, especially the first part of it, which is why the quality isn't that great and the background music doesn't fit very well.

I don't have much of a collection of music so I just throw in whatever I can find.

The video went a little longer than it was supposed to, I guess I'll have to make another one for Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis.
