    Canadian Boxing

In world boxing circles, Canada may be remembered for
Tommy Burns, Lou Brouillard, Jackie Calura, Johnny Coulon,
George Dixon, Sam Langford and Jack Delaney.

In heavyweight boxing, it may be remembered for the likes of Muhammed Ali vs George Chuvalo or in light-heavyweight title fight between Archie Moore vs Yvon Durelle.

Others may remember Canada for Jimmy McLarnin and Lennox Lewis.

Fans of the Fifties or Sixties should remember the likes of Blair Richardson,
James J.Parker, Gordon Wallace, Doug Harper, Charlie Chase, Bob Cleroux, Gale Kerwin,
    Al Sparks, and more.

Well i don't know about the rest of the canada but here Davey Hilton and Alex Hilton are on the news every time they go in jail/get out of jail. Plus the fact that Davey spent a while in jail for ******ing his step daughters is kinda creepy.

Even with all that i still like Davey as a fighter, he was/is one tough mother****er.

As fighters I liked them. As people, they seem to be perfect scumbags, especially Davey.

Couldn't agree more. Alex is more of a drunk that gets in fights in bars and ****, a few years ago he tried to hold up a dunkin donuts full of cops a couple of streets from where i live.

On another note their father still has his boxing gym, he was one the news a while ago for knocking out another elderly man at a wal mart.

Seems a shame that so much focus would be on one Quebec family involved in boxing.

                    Interesting comment!

Now there is another Canadian Donny called Donny Orr.
Difficult to predict how far he will go. But, the Irish connection, may help
the promoters sell a few tickets.
