they are often the most exciting to watch, but who was the best finisher in the history of boxing, who had that killer instinct that went into overdrive once they had a guy hurt

by that i mean, when they had their man hurt they went straight down to business and finished them off- no second chances at all

one name that immediately comes to mind is prime tyson

If there has ever been a better finisher than Joe Louis, I have yet to see him.

Before I had even clicked onto this thread again I was sure I'd see Tito's name. He wasn't the best in my opinion, but its hard to argue he wasn't one of them.

Ali was under-rated in this regard. Although not a big puncher, he would make the most of it when he had a man hurt.
