You will never hear me utter a bad word about Floyd the fighter at 130 and 135. He was an amazing talent and an excellent champion. After that though I have to question him when in comparison to other great and talented fighters such as Gans. It is my opinion that he doesnt have the longevity or willingness to take on the toughest fight throughout his career to be compared with many of these men, when I have no doubt his talent would have allowed him to do so. I have never like his personality, but inside the ring I believe he could have been much more special than what he was. I may even go as far as to say for his level of talent, he underacheived. Maybe.

Very true. Underachieved is definitely the word to describe Floyd.

i would have loved to have seen him dethrone kostya at lightwelter, and judah at welter[prior to the baldomir fight]

I think he would have won both those fights. Judah had the talent to beat Floyd but couldn't stay focussed long enough at any point of his career to pull it off. And Floyd would have adjusted to Tszyu and avoided that right hand while being to quick and landing sharp counter punches. As much as I don't like Floyd, he was very smart in the ring. Like I said, I think he could have been a whole lot greater than what he was. Jmo.

The Kostya fight would have been great for Mayweather. Zoo was an excellent fighter, possibly a great but he had nothing in his style to trouble Mayweather with.
