it would be MW vs WW so Lamatta has an unfair size advantage on him to start with and both in there prime were/are unKO able so I would go with Lamatta

LaMoota even in his prime sometimes fought far over the middleweight limit. I think he beat Irish Bob Murphy at 167. Tony is a natural at 147. Both great toe-to-toe guys. 20 lbs. difference can't compare.

IMO I think LaMotta would bully Margarito around and score a decision, I don't think Margarito could knock out/Knockdown if SRR couldn't so...

LaMotta was a much better fighter all around, just as conditioned, just as good a chin, if not better and the bigger man. I'll take Jake by UD.
