The deep end? How about Oliver McCall defending the title he won from Lennox Lewis over Larry Holmes and celebrating in a Las Vegas crack house? That is a disturbed individual!
He said something like "Im gonna send you to be with you dead mother" or something to that effect. Whatever the exact words were, it was uncalled for. Boxing is a brutal sport, it doesn't have to be tastless as well. If I were Spinks I would have gotten a baseball bat and taken it across his face.
