Top Fights of the Past Few Years That Don't Get Mentioned

Just wondering what some of your opinions are of the past few years...

A few that never get talked about but I thought were great and entertaining fights were:

    1. Oscar De La Hoya vs. Fernando Vargas
    2. O'Neil Bell vs Jean Marc Mormeck
    3. Sam Peter vs. James Toney 2
    4. David Haye vs. Enzo Maccarinelli

    etc.

    Any others?

Haye knocking out Macca wasn't an entertaining fight for me. The only entertainment I got from that fight was during the build up when Haye was taking the piss out Frank Warren.

Good shout; that fight is just brutal. IMO it is the best all British fight of this century.

For those of you that haven't seen it, here it is...

Wow, Helluva fight!! I had never heard let alone seen this fight before. Looked like the UK's version of Gatti-Ward. Thanks for posting the video!

I"ll look for it on youtube!

Have you seen the Robert Quiroga-Kid Akeem Afinwoshe fight? Thats another one of my favorites, but is little known outside olf hardcore fans. Tragic ending.

                  Toney/Peter 1 was better than Toney/Peter 2, a more one-sided fight.

Briggs/Adamek I & II were both very good fights. Blood & guts type ****. Rarely see it mentioned round these parts.Minto/Maddalone I was one of the more entertaining "tough-man" type of fights I can think of. No skill present whatsoever, but a slugfest through and through.
