To me he is the greatest mexican fighter or all time even with a shortened career. He had everything most mexican fighter lack with the heart of a lion.

That's because his career was too short.

He did a lot in a short period of time, but not enough to be mentioned among the greatest ever IMO.

The most talented hispanic 23 year old in sporting history after Fernando Torres for sure.

IF is the middle word in LIFE. But in this case, I think he would obviously have become better and would have given us many more classics.

I just retired & have been a fan for over 50 years and the 4 greatest fighters I ever witnesed were.

                    Salvatore Sanchez
                    Roberto Duran
                    Mohammed Ali
                    Ray Robinson

Sanchez was unbeatable I remember before he fought Wilfredo Gomez he said "How in the world can they make him the favorite over me" I think Gomez was 47-0 at fightime. I looked up Sanchez record & it said he did have 1 loss, that is hard to imagine.
