    Tyson Comeback?

He's 41... he could make a comeback? Surely.

You never lose your strength. If he had the will and put the effort in... how far do you think a Tyson comeback would go.... do you think he could pick up a belt eventually again?

I reckon if he came to England he could take our top heavyweights still...

    Are you drunk, Mickey?

His speed made him so good and gave him power, and these days he is slower than Forrest Gump at a National Spelling Bee Championship.

He'd struggle with even today's crop of Heavyweights. I don't think he could win a belt. Even if he had the will and determination to get fit if he hadn't knocked them out within 2 rounds then its goodnight vienna.

I posted this in another thread in NSB.. its just occured to me that I would like to see a Butterbean-Tyson fight. Hell, make it 4 rounds for all i care.. I know it'd be a freek show but I cant help wanting to see it.

Then maybe the winner could fight the winner of a Bobb Sapp-Kimbo Slice fight hahaha.

i've been saying this for a while now. The ****in guy needs money.

Give him a kick in the ass and get him get in shape. Get him a couple of bums to knock out and try to set up a title shot. God knows he aint gonna beat Klitschko but who cares? It's Mike Tyson. He's always gonna sell tickets.

Miracles do happen though (not that one would) and Wlad does have a shakey chin. But either way, just get the man a paycheck for god's sake.

I think that if a barely cognisent, nearly inaudible Holyfield can do it, Tyson, who's 3 years younger, could do it. Someone like Foreman could kick his nuts into shape, and we know he possesses natural skill and power. Maybe he'd lose to a prime, big guy like Wlad, but he could challenge the others I'd wager. And that previous comment was correct: He'd sell tickets and bring people back to the sport.

The key would be to make the fights available for free, unless he miracles himself into a unification bout or something.

He is done 100%. 1-he's facing jail time(but not in his 20s) 2- he lost to Mcbride, that should say enough about his will to fight, or you could just watch the post fight interview where he says this 3 times. And 3-The style of fighting he has been doing for decades has worn him out. His back will be too much of a problem.
Today in the heavyweight devision, a short average sized 40 year old man using the style of a young gun is not the start of something succesful. I don't think he could do it physically or mentally.

I wouldnt want to see him make a half hearted come back..he would tarnish his greateness. I wouldnt mind seeing a come back with Kevin Rooney on his side, get into shape - But only if mike WANTS to fight not if he needs money. I think he should call out Douglas and avenge his biggest loss and then finish for ever

'If i can't beat Kevin McBride i can't beat Junior Jones!' Do you remember Tyson saying this? Unfortunately he is finished as a fighter. Danny Williams (who i suppose was one of England's top heavyweights at the time), and McBride made it obvious that Tyson had nothing left to give. Sure, he would sell tickets... He could sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating! But the beatings he took from two very average fighters should be a reminder that any comeback would be seriously ill advised.
