Wanna share what that abs workout was? Hagler was a training machine and I'm trying to learn what he did.

His Training Camps Were The T.o.a.t.

He'd Isolate Himself At The Very Tip Of Cape Cod In A Remote Beach Hotel - It Would Be Him, The Petronellis, And Heavyweight Spar Partners Would Come, Get Hurt, And Get Replaced. At 3am Every Morning He Sprinted 15 Miles Along The Beach With Heavy Combat Boots, Half Of It Backwards.

It Would Be Windy As Hell. It Was Said To Be One Of The Coldest Places On Earth In The Winter Due To The Wind And Marvin Would Be Actually Screaming With Pain During His Beach Runs, Pain Of The Cold As Well As Pain In The Legs And Lungs. He Sometimes Passed Out. Snow, Rain, The More The Merrier For Marvin. He Needed To Get Into That Zone. Crazy.

He Trained 7 Days A Week, 100 Rounds Of Sparring A Week. He'd Be Fast Asleep At 8pm Every Night. He Didn't Want To See Anybody Other Than The Petronellis And Sparring Partners And Refused To Talk Socially To Them Even.

When His Workouts Were Over, And It Wasn't Time To Eat Or Study Videos Of Himself In Training Or Past Fights Or His Opponent In Fights, It Was Said He Sat For Hours At His Window, Relentlessly Contemplating The Ocean.

That Guy Was Mad Tough. He Deserved To Be Middleweight Champ!

Obviously he did other stuff like speedball, heavy bag, jump rope, ab work and medicine ball hits. No weights, and believe it or not no shadow boxing.
