    Best Boxing Movies

I know a lot of fan's love "Rocky" but there is a small "Raging Bull" fan club. Where does everyone way in. Oh yeah and if you say Cinderella Man I might have to find you and beat you up. Just saying.

I meant to say "weigh in" I wouldn't have corrected it but I'm sort crazy. While I'm posting my vote goes to Rocky #1 of course. But Raging Bull is a close second.

The Harder They Fall - Bogart (personal all time favorite)
      Gladiator ('92)- Cuba Gooding Jr.
      Raging bull of course
Fighting Tommy Riley (found this one for a buck! at walmart...actually aint a bad movie..)
The Great White Hype is also a funny movie
Triumph of the Spirit (atlas plays in this one and created main character's boxing style)
Bullet has some boxing in it and a couple boxers but isn't really boxing related. The end has an awesome fight scene though, worth checking out.

thats just a few off the top of my head.

I think my username and pics, pretty much say what I think is the best boxing movie...lol.

movies like Raging Bull, Cinderella Man, and Ali were extremely boring, Rocky had alot of action and feeling to it.

this is how I rank the Rocky movies:

          1. Rocky
          2. Rocky Balboa
          3. Rocky III
          4. Rocky II
          5. Rocky IV
          6. Rocky V

What about the hurricaine with Denzel Washington? I like the bit where he trains when he's in solitary confinement. you wouldn't like to be sharing a cell with Denzel at all.

An theres another movie - "the boxer" with Daniel Day Lewis. He boxes in order to quell terrorism in Northern Ireland. I think Day-Lewis was trained by Barry McGuigan in order to look good in this fight (and to be honest Day-Lewis puts on a good boxing show, it looked really techinically good) where as if people boxed like Rocky, they would have been smashed to pieces.

Fave film - Rocky 1. Cos its actually a really good film, really good acting and its not cheesy at all. He doesn't even win at the end, which is what usually happens in sport films.
