Choynski was a very hard, swift, and accurate straight puncher. The kind of guy that could time it right and knock just about anyone out. You read 160 lbs and think that he couldn't hit but that's just not the case here. Did Johnson have a great chin? No, clearly not. But he wasn't going to go down from a jab or the first serious punch he got hit with.
Here's a clip of Choynski sparring with Jim Jeffries prior to Johnson-Jeffries. It's the only footage I've ever seen of Choynski.

      ali
      louis
      holmes
marciano- cuz hes undefeated, thats the only reason i put him here
      lewis
      foreman
      frazier
      holyfield
      tyson
      liston

That list is a mixture of accomplishments and head to head matchups. Jack Johnson doesnt deserve to be in it. If rid**** bowe was a ranked fighter for 3 more years and beat solid opponents, he would have made it.

Ali is lucky cuz he fought in the golden era, personally i think larry holmes is better than him. His jab is better and hes physically stronger, the only reason people say ali would beat him is cuz he's more popular. Larry is a bad matchup for Ali and everyone knows it.
im sorry but do thine eyes decieve me..youve got lennox lewis as #3 all time ?...and no dempsey in your top 10 ?..

the best guy dempsey ever fought was gene tunney, look what happens. Dempsey's era was full of bums, jess willard and firpo are not held in a high regard. Let me remind u that there were like 10 black guys trying to get a title shot and they werent allowed cuz of that time frame. So the question is if dempsey would have been champ if he fought everyone?

Plus Dempsey was past his prime when Tunney fought him.

Tunny was a vary good fighter but Dempsey was past his prime and had not fought in 2 years but I hardly consider Dempseys opponets bums Jess Willard: 6' 6 1/4" 230 lbs. The tallest man to ever hold the heavyweight title. Had a long 83" reach. Willard got a bad rep on the claim of Johnson that he threw their fight. The film, however, shows that Johnson simply gets hit on the chin. Willard actually had a good jab, and good footwork for a man of his size. He had a strong chin. Only Dempsey, and Firpo (at the end of his career) ever ko'd him. He quit once in a fight earlier in his career. One of the most under-rated of heavyweights. He had strength and power enough to kill a man in the ring witch tragicly happend in a bout with John Bull Young Willard hit him with an uppercut and I have heard these things said about what happend his Jaw was drove into hes brain and the other his neck was snapped. Firpo was a vary hard hitter and could take a punch vary just as well had preveusly KO a comeback Jess Willard and had Dempsey down 2 times in ther fight including knocking Dempsey throw the ropes.

                      - -WBC mandated the Norton rematch, thus his ditching that belt for Spinks, a no brainer.
