He definately would of been fighter of the 90's, he'd of taken out Jones then cleared up at light-heavy.

The ref of the Benn fight was indeed utterly incompetent. Even Pacheco was like "What does he think hes reffing an amateur fight?". I take nothing away from Benn, but he was getting his ass handed to him for a large portion of that fight by a man with a developing BLOOD CLOT IN HIS BRAIN!!

No way Been wins that fight or even makes it 12 rounds with a healthy McClellan.
acutally the blood clot probably happened during the fight and mckellan only dominated the first round the rest were shared probably quite evenly

I think he would have had problems with Toney and Hopkins.
he did help mcellan out too he obviously didn't want to see a knockout in a boxing match!

actually Benn clearly got the better of most of the exchanges, aside from the end of the 8th round when he was in trouble again. Ignore Scrappy Diggs, he must be on crack.

Had he not been ****ed up in that fight (I certainly shed no tears at all over that), my money would've been on the sick **** doing some extended time in prison.

I take it that you knew him personally then! According to rumours he was a very nasty character but i tend to concentrate more on what achieved in the ring.

No, I don't know him personally, but I do give plenty of credence to the words of those who were very close to him, like his trainer or first cousin (to name two that come to memory offhand), whose stories about McClellan were both in complete alignment and were consistent with each other's...If both of them (and others) are describing him in such a manner where my interpretation of their words is that he was a sick & sadistic ****, then that's exactly what I'll call him.

And I tend to watch both what a fighter does in the ring, as well as learning about the character he shows out of it (I've read plenty of boxing bios because I like to get the more personal side of the stories)...

They are human with personal lives well beyond the boxing ring, aren't they?

Or are they some type of programmable machine, only brought out of a wooden box for battle a couple/few times a year?

if what he did to his animals was true, then he was a disturbed son of a *****. And I think Roy Jones would beat him at 168 personally
