Coming off his big victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. this past April 18th, light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara (27-3, 16KOs) says he has received word of his next outing.

"We're fighting in Chicago, October 16th," Fonfara said from Houston, Texas, where he is going through a short training camp before heading back to 'the Windy City' where he resides.

According to him he will be facing former WBO light heavyweight belt-holder, Nathan Cleverly (29-2, 15KOs), in a fight that will most likely end up on the Spike network as part of Premier Boxing Champions card.

Chavez Jr. who quit on his stool after the ninth round of their contest at the StubHub Center has made comments that he'd like a rematch with the Polish fighter at super middleweight in the near future.

To which Fonfara responded - "If he wants a rematch, we can make it at my division, 175, or like before at a catch-weight - we can do the same thing. I'm not a super middleweight, I'm a light heavyweight fighter. If you want to beat me, you must beat me at my weight division, not his. If he wants to do it at 168, I say no but we can do it at my weight division, even today."
