Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) today further strengthened their position in women's boxing with the announcement of six new signings, including Evelin Bermudez

Evelin Bermudez scored two knockdowns and stopped Sara Bailey to add another 108lbs title to her collection Saturday at Hard Rock Casino in Ottawa, Canada.

Amanda Serrano continues to make history and print her own money. The record-setting, seven-division titlist achieved another first in a career already destined for the Hall of fame. Serrano became Puerto Rico’s first-ever undisputed champion–male or female—in the multi-belt era with her ten-round, unanimous decision win over Erika Cruz. Their fiercely contested February 4 battle was an instant classic but was just the beginning for the now 35-year-old southpaw.

Kim Clavel (17-2, 3 KOs) suffered the second defeat of her career on Saturday night, but she's convinced that the judges got it wrong in her title fight with IBF, WBO light flyweight world champion Evelin Bermudez (19-1-1, 6 KOs), who walked away with both belts by way of a ten round split decision.

Kim Clavel has a second chance to become a unified junior flyweight titlist. The former WBC beltholder is set to challenge two-time and reigning IBF and WBO 108-pound queen Evelin Bermudez on October 7 at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec City, Canada. Yvon Michel’s GYM Promotions formally announced the title fight on Wednesday.

Evelin Bermudez has restored her unified title reign. The 26-year-old Argentinean regained her IBF and WBO junior flyweight titles with a ten-round, unanimous decision victory over Tijuana’s Tania Enriquez. Scores were 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93 for Bermudez in their TyC Sports-aired main event from Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The fight came less than four months after Bermudez saw her four-year title stay come to a close after a disappointing ten-round decision defeat to Yokasta Valle last November 26 in Carson, California. Valle became a three-division titlist with the win but opted to return to strawweight where she also holds the IBF and WBO belts, thus leaving the pair of junior flyweight titles up for grabs on Friday.

A fallen unified titlist is given a chance to immediately reclaim her lost crown. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Evelin Bermudez and Tania Enriquez are set to fight on March 10 at Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which will be presented by OR Promotions. The vacant IBF and WBO junior flyweight titles will be at stake for the terrific matchup between the former unified titlist and rising unbeaten contender.

Yokasta Valle overcame a slow start Saturday night and became a three-division world champion. Costa Rica’s Valle pressed the action for most of her 10-round fight against Evelyn Bermudez and won a majority decision to take the IBF and WBO junior flyweight titles from the Argentinean veteran on the Jose Zepeda-Regis Prograis

Regis Prograis comfortably came in below the super lightweight limit of 140 pounds Friday for a second straight fight. The former WBA champion stepped on the California State Athletic Commission’s scale at 139 pounds for his 12-round title fight against Jose Zepeda on Saturday night in Carson. That’s the same amount Prograis weighed for his previous
