Heavyweight prospect Viktor Faust (in the amateurs known as Viktor Vykhrustt) headlines a small show at the EC Boxing Gym in Hamburg on March 21. Opponent is to be announced. Faust (1-0) was first to be featured on the undercard to a highly interesting heavyweight matchup in France between stablemate Christian Hammer and Tony Yoka but that fight won´t happen - at least not now.

The "new" Universum have suffered a setback after German network ZDF pulled the plug after just one show claiming that the number of viewers were not up to expectations. The fact that the live telecast didn´t begin until past midnight may have played a role in the low viewing numbers is apparently not taken into consideration. Promoter Ismail Oezen plans to continue with more shows and join forces with Team Sauerland for another show at the Work Your Champ Arena in Hamburg April 4.

Topping the bill is a showdown between middleweights Denis Radovan (13-0-1) and Antonio Hoffmann (23-2) with the IBF Euro title at stake. There´s a also a rematch between light heavies Hampus Henriksson (4-0-1) and Leo Cvetkovic (1-1-1). The two drew the first time around.

PGP Boxing (based in Liechtenstein) and Petko´s Box Promotion join forces for a show in Neu-Ulm (Germany) March 28. Headlining is a welterweight clash between Deniz Ilbay (22-2) and Dylan Moran (13-1). As for Moran from Ireland he is now promoted by PGB while Ilbay is with Petko´s.

French super lightweight champion Bastien Ballesta (20-0-1) defends the title against veteran Renald "Lion" Garrido (25-26-3) today (Feb 28) in Agde. 20-0-1 vs 25-26-3 sounds like a good workout but not more for the unbeaten champ but one should never count out Garrido, who may have faded a bit of lately but is teak tough and with lots of close calls going against him on the road. In the co-feature Khalil El Hadri (7-0) defends the French 130 lb title against Anthony Rivera (9-3-1).

Former IBF and IBO super lightweight champion Eduard Troyanovsky (28-2) is featured on the undercard to Isaac Real´s defence of the EU supe rwelter title against Tomi Silveinnonen (9-1). Who Troyanovsky will fight isn´t clear yet.

Eduard won the vacant Eurasian Boxing Parliament title in his last fight so there´s still life in the 39-year old. Also on the bill is super middleweight Ronny Landaeta (17-2) who takes on Mexican veteran Michel Rosales (36-14).
