Ukrainian heavyweight Viktor Faust, 15-1 (9 KOs), knocked out former WBA regular title challenger Christopher Lovejoy, 20-2-1 (20 KOs), on Saturday in Kiel, Germany.
Lovejoy, of Los Angeles, has gone the distance just once in a 23-fight professional career – a draw against the little-known Ayman Farouk Abbas. In addition to Lovejoy's 20 knockout wins, he has been stopped inside two rounds in both his losses.
Meanwhile, for the EC Boxing-promoted Faust, it's up and away. This was his third straight win since an injury-related loss to Cuba's Lenier Pero in 2023. The comeback began with a win over Marcus Antonio Aumada last year and was most recently followed by a points win over veteran Rydell Booker in April.
