Former longtime WBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck (45-5-1), now campaigning as a heavyweight, has been waiting for a long time for his shot at the EBU title.

Marco Huck Promotion won purse bids for Huck to challenge Joe Joyce but the Brit relinquished the title. The EBU has now appointed fellow German and former EBU ruler Agit Kabayel (23-2 or 21-0 depending on if include or exclude Kabayel's participation in the Bigger is Better Tournament) as co-challenger for the vacant title.

The EBU has set September 22 as deadline for purse bids and look for both Marco Huck Promotions and Kabayel's promoter SES to bid high for the rights to this exciting matchup.

Alessio Lorusso and Thomas Masson will battle for the vacant EU bantamweight title November 19 in Seregno, Italy, on BBT promotion.

Lorusso (15-4-2) is covered top to toe with tattoos and suffered all of his four losses during 2018. Masson (19-4-1) has fought at a higher level and held the EBU flyweight title and also challenged for the WBC title in 2017.

French light heavyweight Mathieu Bauderlique (20-1) takes on Russian fighter Igor Mikhalikin (24-2) on September 10 at the Roland Garros Stadium in Paris with the vacant EBU title at stake.

Today (Sep 2) it was announced that Bauderlique has signed with Italian Opi since 82, which in effect means he is now a part of Matchroom / DAZN Italy.
