Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz says he disagrees with critics of referee Thomas Taylor’s decision to award WBC junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora a last-round knockout over Ermal Hadribeaj on Saturday night.
Uncorking five hard left hands in the final seconds of the 12th round, Sebastian Fundora answered a game and unexpected challenge from Ermal Hadribeaj Saturday night to retain his WBC junior-middleweight belt.
Headlining Saturday’s edition of TNT and DAZN’s “The Fight” at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, WBC champion Sebastian Fundora, 24-1-1 (16 KOs), weighed 152.8lbs for his fourth title defense, this one against mandatory contender Ermal Hadribeaj, 23-0-1 (8 KOs), who weighed in at 152.4lbs.
