London - Adam Azim successfully defended his European super lightweight title against Enock Poulsen but didn’t get the clean, highlight reel finish he has grown accustomed to.

Adam Azim continues his development next month when he defends his European super lightweight title against Denmark’s unbeaten Enock Poulsen.

EBU super lightweight champion Adam Azim believes that he will become a world champion by the end of 2024. Azim, 21-years-old and 10-0 as a professional, is looking to become world level player in a loaded division.

Adam Azim makes the first defense of his EBU European super lightweight title against undefeated former champion Enock Poulsen on Saturday, February 3rd at The OVO Arena Wembley in London, live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland, and Peacock in the USA.

Kevin Lele Sadjo's much anticipated defense of the EBU super middleweight title against former WBA champ Giovanni De Carolis, that was set for Marseille (France) this coming Saturday (Dec 2), is now off.

Adam Azim had a record setting night on Saturday. The 21-year-old produced an excellent display to stop Franck Petitjean and become the European super lightweight champion. By becoming a European champion in just his tenth fight, Azim became the fastest British fighter to ever win the title. He also became the first British-Pakistani fighter to claim the prestigious belt.

Newly crowned EBU super lightweight champ Adam Azim (10-0) will defend the title against the mandatory challenger, Dane Enock Poulsen (14-0) in February in London. Contracts are not yet signed but Poulsen reports on social media that an agreement is in place.

This past Saturday night, Adam Azim captured the EBU title at 140-pounds, with a knockout win over Franck Petitjean. He is now bound to make a mandatory defense against challenger Enock Poulsen, who was ringside and came to face with Azim in the aftermath.

Civic Hall, Wolverhampton - For the EBU super lightweight title, Adam Azim (10-0, 7 KOs) broke down and stopped Franck Petitjean (24-7-3, 6 KOs) in the tenth round.

Copenhagen, Denmark - Former EBU super lightweight champ Enock Poulsen (14-0) outscored Italian Miirko Marchetti (8-6) in an eight-rounder that was more like a glorified sparring session than a real fight. Marchetti, a southpaw, protected himself well and Poulsen was content to box on the outside. It was scored 80-71 on all cards. Marchetti was down in the second but it was an off-balance slip.
