Las Vegas, Nevada - Leonard Ellerbe, CEO for Mayweather Promotions, says he is not the worried, at all, about the buyrate figure for the upcoming Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Andre Berto Showtime Pay-Per-View, which takes place on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Berto, 3-3 in his last six fights, is a significant underdog in the matchup, and many expect one-sided wipeout by Mayweather.

After generating a shattering 4.4 million buys for the May mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao, the fight with Berto is not expected by industry experts to break the one million mark.

Ellerbe says the media remains fixated on pay-per-view numbers, while his company is only fixated on putting the event together.

The September fight will be Mayweather's final obligation of his six fight exclusive deal with Showtime/CBS. That deal provides him with a high guarantee per fight - regardless of a pay-per-view's overall buyrate. The guarantee is rumored to be at least $25 to 30 million per fight.

"We don't worry about the numbers. That's you guys' job, to focus on the numbers. I don't have an opinion [on the numbers]. I'm going to continue to work around the clock. My team is going to continue to work around the clock," Mayweather said.

"I know how to do to my job. I've been very blessed and very successful with going about [promoting pay-per-view events]. But our success or failure, we don't look at anything as failure - we look at everything as a positive."
