LAS VEGAS, NV - On Saturday night the first pay-per-view of 2019 takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with Manny Pacquiao defending his WBA welterweight title against Adrien Broner in the main event.

There will be three other fights on the pay-per-view portion of the card with Badou Jack facing Marcus Browne for the interim WBA light heavyweight title serving as the co-feature bout of the evening.

During a recent media session for Jack at the Mayweather Boxing Club, Mayweather Promotions' CEO Leonard Ellerbe agreed that the Jack-Browne fight has a good chance of being the best fight of the night.

"Actually I think it has a very good chance. We all know what the main event looks like but when it comes to Badou and Marcus I think it will be a competitive fight. You have two guys who are very hungry. There are a lot of options out there in the light heavyweight division and it is all about the timing," said Ellerbe.

With this bout being on a major pay-per-view card it gives both guys a chance to showcase that they are the best and to show that they want to be the best and make a great statement out there for all the fans across the world. I think that this fight has a very good chance to steal the show."

Ellerbe believes the fight is very evenly match and both fighters have different advantages.  The first two differences that stick out are the fighters ages and experience in big fights.

"Marcus is very confident. When you are in a big fight you have to be. Badou, he is just kind of even keeled, we know he comes with his workmanlike approach to every fight. He just puts in the work and has a tremendous amount of experience," explained Ellerbe.

The rest of the pay-per-view portion of the card will be rounded out by Jhack Tepora facing Hugo Ruiz for the interim WBA featherweight title and former three-time US Olympian Rau'shee Warren squaring off against Nordine Oubaali for the vacant WBC bantamweight title.
