The World Boxing Organization has stripped Sergei Dzinziruk (37-1, 23KOs) of his junior middleweight title. Dzinziruk has not made a defense since last May's technical knockout of Daniel Dawson. He fought once in 2011, at middleweight, and was knocked out by WBC champion Sergio Martinez in March. He was scheduled to face mandatory challenger Lukas Konecny (47-3, 22KOs) on September 30, but withdrew with an injury. Interim champion Zaurbek Baysangurov (26-1, 20KOs) has been upgraded to the title status of "full champion."

As it stands, Baysangurov may get pushed into a fight against Konecny - and the WBO has ordered the winner to make a mandatory defense against Dzinziruk within 120-days of their win.
