The bareknuckle scene continues to swell with more former pros, like 42-year-old Dejan Zlaticanan, throwing their names into the ungloved hat

Lewis Ritson showed he is far from finished as he comfortably beat former WBC lightweight champion Dejan Zlaticanin on Probellum’s show in Newcastle.

Lewis Ritson was in great shape on the scales as he weighed in ahead of his battle with Dejan Zlaticanin on Friday night. Ritson takes on Zlaticanin in the main event of a show at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, and will be broadcast live on Eurosport.

Probellum will host its first UK show of 2022 in Newcastle in March, jointly headlined by local fighters Lewis Ritson, Troy Williamson and Thomas Patrick Ward, with the hugely talented duo Pat McCormack and Ben Rees set to make their professional debuts.

In the main event of a huge multi-title, multi-fight card, staged by the RCC and German Titov Boxing Promotions in Ekaterinburg, Russia, WBC #6 and IBF #9 lightweight Zaur Abdullaev got closer to the second shot at a world-title by outpointing tough former WBC champion Dejan Zlaticanin of Montenegro unanimously over twelve rounds. Abdullaev acquired a vacant WBC Silver belt in the process.

Fighting for the first time in three years and coming into the fight with a record of 0-4-1 in her last five fights, Mexican Jessica Gonzalez (8-5-2, 1 KO) scored arguably her greatest career victory by outpointing previously undefeated WBC Interim bantamweight champion Tatyana 'The Black Panther ' Zrazhevskaya (11-1, 3 KOs).

For over twenty years German Titov has been retaining his tight grip on the Russian fight scene, being one of its biggest and most consistent promoters. That grip won’t loosen anytime soon, as German Titov and the RCC Boxing Promotions prepare for their hugest event in 2021, which is set to take place this Saturday night at the RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

Roberto Ramirez ruined Dejan Zlaticanin’s comeback Thursday night. Mexico’s Ramirez (18-2-1, 13 KOs) knocked down the former WBC world lightweight champion twice and stopped him in the second round of a scheduled 10-round, 135-pound bout in New York.

Dejan Zlaticanin is back on the path towards fighting for a world title belt. Zlaticanin returns to action tonight when he faces Mexico's Roberto Ramirez in a 10 round bout at the Melrose Ballroom in the New York City suburb of Astoria.

Returning to action in a scheduled 10-round battle is former WBC Lightweight World Champion "Dynamite" Dejan Zlaticanin (23-1, 16 KOs), of Podgorica, Montenegro. Making his New York City debut, the hard-hitting southpaw turned heads with a first-round knockout of Hevinson Herrera on December 14, 2017.
