Daniela Bermudez: record, next fight and profile →
On the evening that undisputed women’s flyweight champion Gabriela Fundora flexed how mismatched she is from the rest of the best 112lbs female fighters in the world, the question that looms is: Where can she go now?
Nina Meinke has reported on social media that her battle with Argentina’s Daniela Bermudez for the vacant IBF featherweight title on September 21 will be fought over 12-threes.
Alycia Baumgardner insisted to anyone who would listen that she was the hardest punching female fighter in the world. All that she needed was the opportunity to back up that claim. It came in the form of her first career title fight, with Baumgardner rising to the occasion and punching her way into stardom in one fell swoop.
