Devin Haney, one of boxing's rising stars, fights Xolisani Ndongeni tonight on ShoBox.  CompuBox examines Haney's stats (last 4 fights), as well as the numbers for other top prospects Vergil Ortiz (last 5 fights), Shakur Stevenson (last 5 fights), Michael Conlan (last 5 fights) and Teofimo Lopez (last 4 fights) in a total of 10 offensive and defensive categories.

Ortiz (+22.6), edges out Shakur (+22.4) as Plus/Minus Leader primarily due his total connect pct. of 40.4%-
10% higher than the C'Box avg.

Shakur opponents landed just 8.4% of their total punches, 21.5% lower than the CompuBox avg.

Conlan, Ortiz & Lopez landed nearly 21 punches per round and Conlan's the busiest, averaging 70 per round.

Haney's 7.1 jabs landed per round ranks #1, barely edging out Conlan's 7 per round

Ortiz landed nearly half his power punches, 5% hgher than #2 Teofimo Lopez.

Very interesting - if we could only get these prospects in the ring together I would feel much better. Haney vs Teofimo Lopez late 2019 - why not?
