Little interesting trivia about the Glory of Giza card. Egyptian boxer Omar Hikal is making his pro debut against Ugandan boxer Ali Sserunkuma (2-3-0).
Omar Hikal is the son of Mohammed Hikal, the FIRST boxer to BEAT Usyk in the amateurs. That was Usyk's 4th amateur bout, and Hikal's 17th bout and it was for the Ahmet Comert Tournament Final, 2006.
They rematched 5 months later and Hikal beat Usyk AGAIN! By that time it was Usyk's 9th amateur bout as he'd accumulated several more fights over those 5 months. However Hikal hadn't fought at all for 5 months, so for him it was effectively an "immediate rematch" with Usyk, and his 18th amateur bout. That rematch was for the 2006 AIBA Boxing World Cup - Africa vs Ukraine.
Hikal beat Usyk on points over 4 rounds in both fights.
In the first fight he beat Usyk by 15 points with a score of 26 - 11.
In the rematch he beat Usyk by 9 points with a score of 17 - 8.
His son, Omar Hikal, will make his pro debut most likely on the free-to-air prelims of the broadcast, which are usually live on YouTube.
