Made me laugh when I saw the moron Frank Warren saying Itauma is better than Tyson at the same age. Do people realize that Mike Tyson at 21 had already conquered his era as the undisputed and lineal heavyweight champion of the world with 35 fights under his belt and KO wins over Holmes and Spinks.
Itauma on the other hand is 21 but has had 14 fights and is being matched like a baby by Frank.
Stop protecting this kid already. i get the feeling this fat boy is hiding china in his chin.
Fisheyes frank still bitter that Mike tyson made him strip naked and beat tf out of him all them years ago.

If and when Itamua steps up in class of opponents and wins, only then can he be compared with a young 21 year old Mike Tyson.
Frank's words are laughable.
I think Itamua has a bit of a suspect chin. Chins are teasted when they are hit by hard shots, which Itauma has not been hit with yet.
But he is a fast handed puncher for sure. Let the snake oil salesman sell his goods to the UK public. They are proven buyers.

Tyson - great fighter but most of his reputation comes from doing it all so young.
No, Moses isn't a close comparison age for age, but might well be when it comes to the full career which is a far more important measure of a fighter.
Still lots to find out about Moses. I actually thought this 'step up' against Franklin gave us more questions than answers, despite being a pretty impressive performance. The hands are seriously fast, the power is real, and he had the IQ to break down a fighter who doesn't give you anything for free, but I don't see great movement or defence. And his chin is completely untested, while his stamina actually looks suspect.
Right now, I think Usyk would completely expose him and it wouldn't even be close.
He isn't ready for Usyk, but I think he will comprehensively beat the likes of Hrgovic and Zhang.I don't see any need to rush him14 fights is nothing a few more bouts against maybe Bakole,Sanchez etc, are needed imo.
It's hard to tell if he should be compared to Mike Tyson because we just don't have enough data right now. Honestly, he was trying way too hard to get Franklin out in the first few rounds and he got caught. He has to slow himself down, methodically break them down, out box them, then go for the kill. So, he did show some immaturity but nothing too serious. He needs to work on his defense and listen to his coaches.
If you're going force me to compare/contrast Tyson to Itauma then we should look at how they pace themselves. Mike Tyson had this educated aggression with his peek a boo style. Moses is a bit more measured with his approach and has better balance. Mike Tyson had insane KO power and we're all forgetting that he had a 20 KO streak which is something I don't think Itauma is capable of. Moses has mostly fought guys with regular jobs and two of his wins already went to the score card so.
It's because he was put under ridiculous pressure
Franklin went 12 with Joshua and was never hurt, just after Joshua had gone 7-5 on the cards with ATG Usyk
And people were saying if Itauma didn't do way better than Joshua and blast Franklin out early it would be a failure
Wtf?
So he went out there trying to do that and threw himself off a bit
Fighters should have one mission, win the fight, nothing else is important trying to match or better someone else's performance never works well because it forces an unnatural performance
I agree.
That will come with experience.

If a fighter thinks that way then that's their biggest flaw. Joshua's first loss came from a similar way of thinking and affected his career thereafter.
Definitely had nervous energy in the first few rounds, didn't look comfortable despite being in total control.
I agree with you, some question marks there.
I like the guy I think he's super talented but he definitely needs to step up carefully I don't think he's ready for world title shots yet.
How he's ranked #1 with the WBO and WBA is ridiculous but that's to be expected. Same thing with Anthony Yarde.

Biblical Moses will be soon and ultimately go onto have the greater career
Mike was a tremendous talent and peak physical specimen but emotionally unstable and became unfocused
Biblical Moses is a British Joe Louis

I agree but that "era" was incredibly weak.
He won his titles off Trevor Berbick, Bonecrusher Smith and Tony Tucker.
Smith and Tucker were good but far from elite. Berbick was a joke.

Here he is.
Itauma's first hater.
