I think the likelihood is that Itauma would KO Kabayel early. Kabayel is too flat footed and likes to go to war. He might be too easy of a target. Hard to say for certain though. It's an interesting fight.
Yeah he could quite easily ko Kabayel tbh
If Zhang can find a shot Kabayel cant see coming Ituama certainly can too
Ituama punches when other heavyweights lean on each other and rest
Ituamas workrate is too much for these flat footed guys that are used to putting their chin on the opponants shoulder or clinching
Ituama so far hasnt given anyone that chance and thats when he landed that uppercut last night when Franklin thought it was safe and rest time Ituama used his fast feet and ironed him out
Usyk could not dismantly AJ easily and went to a SD with him but he dismantles and stops Itauma? Ye ok.
Itauma stops Usyk.
So you're saying that it wouldn't be easy. Exactly what I said. Maybe you didn't read it properly.
I don't think it will be "easy". He'll have to bamboozle Itauma for a few rounds before he stops him. I don't have any certainty when you get a BIG, TALL heavyweight who has hands that fast. As I'm thinking about it now, I can see how Usyk might pick him apart and finish him, because slow, flat-footed Franklin gave him quite a few little issues. Usyk is 10 times better and fitter than Franklin....AND MUCH FASTER.

Itauma stops Usyk.
Zhang is a good shout.
So what we'll get is Moses banjo'ing Jamie TKV in about 30 seconds.
:lol1: Probably.
You could see he was frustrated with the fact Allen is fighting Hrgoivc next. That would have been a perfect fight for Itauma.
I rate him though, but definitely needs more experience.
They're all flat-footed fighters. That would be good for Itauma. Zhang has a chance of landing a fast, heavy counter shot but he moves like he's in quicksand and gasses by the end of round 3 or 4...He doesn't throw a lot of punches either. Itauma would probably get to him before Zhang gets to Itauma. Any of them would be interesting fights but Itauma would be a clear favourite in all of them.
I just think Itauma needs a little more experience vs some Top 10 ranked guys before jumping in for a world title.
He seemed a bit nervous in there tonight between rounds. Experience is needed, I think. He's certainly got the skills and talent.
Literally preicsely zero :lol1:
Still too early for Itauma though. I'd liked to have seen him fight Hrgovic next but for some unknown reason Dave Allen is fighting him.
I think Itauma should fight the likes of Gassiev, Bakolie, Zhang, Ajagba fighters of that level before he jumps in for world titles.

It's really just his pace that's so amazing. He feints so well, his movements are very fluid, and it's hard to track down what he's going to do. His speed doesn't give you enough time to react then his sheer power finishes you. I give Franklin a lot of credit for getting in the ring with a juggernaut boxer such as Itauma. Franklin actually landed a few good shots in the third but he really was completely outclassed by the better man.
Franklin gave him precisely zero issues.

Kabayel is much more experienced. I would favor him to beat Itauma.
Considering that Usik will presumably take the rest of 2026 off after the farce against Rico, Itauma and Kabayel need to fight to establish the rightful number 1 contender.
Extremely curious to see how Itauma would fair against a top contender that actually punch back....and punch hard too!

Easily?
I love Usyk,i would be worried about him in that one and i would be rooting for Usyk
This guys a natural heavyweight and that footwork and timing mixed with power is dangerous for anyone
I do see Usyk winning but thats a dangerous fight
That's the way I see it too. It's a very dangerous fight for Usyk, even though he might pick Itauma apart and stop him....MAYBE. It's definitely not a sure thing!
Still think Usyk dismantles Moses easily, but that was an impressive win.

Pretty good win - Franklin didn't flop out early or fight scared or anything like that, he was serviceable which is what they hoped for. \
Ituama had to create a little bit of his own offense as Franklin likes to hide his hands and not give away too mch, I liked that. Also, in this fight you realize how big Ituama is, they keep calling him Tyson but he's a lot bigger.
