Buff Guy's Good Friend Top Soviet Bivol is tuning up this April
Will Buff Guy Artur do one too?
if Buff Guy Artur foregoes a tune up, he could be inactive for 20+ months at 41 by the time he trilogies Top Soviet Bivol in October, November, or December!

Cinkara is BUFF a career cruiser with a 83% ko ratio:cool:
There’s enough ish from the Cuban Dave fight for Buff Guy Jai to use:cool: and at least 8-4 Fat Dave
Fat Dave is volume in BURSTS like…..BIVOL
both have averaged 45 punches per round as of late
that’s only 7 more than Top Sniper Floyd who’d do 38
I’d be impressed if Fat Dave spams shots at Parker’s Cousin Buff Guy Jai like Buff Guy Artur did vs Top Soviet Bivol
the REAL volume guy Buff Guy Artur was spamming 57 around blessed with his ALLAH FUELED STAMINA
I do not believe Fat Dave has comparable stamina given how he took his foot off the gas pedal in the final thirds against Gvozdyk and Cuban Dave
Fat Dave gets cross stepping following in straight lines when confronted with fleet feet
Struggling to cut the ring off would discourage higher volume
Yeah but Cinkara has beaten absolutely nobody of note yet STILL managed to tag Jai plenty and almost drop him. Therefore, I repeat, imagine what the much faster, much more skilled Benavidez could do to him?
Also, I disagree about Dave tiring in the later rounds or using the Morrell fight (even though he's a southpaw) as a basis to beat him. If you look at the CompuBox numbers below, Benavidez outlanded him in almost ALL of the rounds and actually landed significantly more punches in the championship rounds too.

If anyone knows it's John ...
Beterbiev doesn't have to fight 4 times a year... His stock is still way up there and he still has beaten everyone facing him...
Benny, for how high he his in my list, just ran away to heavier grounds when Artur called him out after the Yarde fight... He knows what's coming and he won't just go for a "defense"...
I can see Beterbiev go for 2-3 more years assuming he keeps in shape... Sadly, finding worthy contenders will always be hard...
I still think Artur is the most feared LHW as we speak... Benny running away is a blatant example...
Buff Guy Artur fought TWICE in 2024:cool:
was about to do two in 2025 with a tuneup in late 2025
he’s not that inactive
I believe he’s a two a year guy whenever injury free
Artur DEFINITELY stays in shape between fights, he is almost obsessed with slways being ready

Lol Cinkara is a certified BUM and even he managed to land several flush right hands on Opetaia and almost dropped him. Therefore, imagine how many times David's going to tag him given his infinitely superior hand speed and skill (vs. Cinkara) plus the fact that he's a pressure fighter with an insane work rate?
I'm NOT saying that he's going to necessarily stop (or drop) Opetaia but this fight will be a lot closer than you think.Cinkara is BUFF a career cruiser with a 83% ko ratio:cool:

of course Cinkara is a career long cruiser
they all have power at that size
Fat Dave would be a 175 who ate tacos his way into cruiser
The power will be diminished he wasn’t ever a one punch ko even at 168

Lol did you watch his last fight? 41yo journeyman Cinkara wobbled him with a few right hands and almost DROPPED him. Therefore, although fleet-footed, he's not nearly as difficult to tag as you think so imagine what Benavidez would do to him?of course Cinkara is a career long cruiser

Me have Parker’s Cousin Buff Guy Jai’s SKILLED Slugger Style being bad for Fat Dave whose power and volume decreased when he moved up to 175:(
175 to 200 is the biggest single weight jump for the next division
Fat Dave has stated as the smaller man against Fat Gilbert Fat Dave will use his speed edge to box
While Fat Dave has a good spear jab and reach he hasn’t yet to show the footwork to outbox someone such as the fleet footed Jai
Buff Guy Artur’s one a year bothers me less as he’s now 41. Keep his mileage only for the big fights? And he isn’t the p4p king
Since p4p king is the face of boxing the onus is on the heavy head that wears the crown to fight regularly:cool:
Naoya has had a strong reign fighting thrice or 4x per year

Good question...it'll probably be a close '6-6 fight' as you like to say. However, I give Benavidez the edge since he's got a better chin and Jai is much easier to hit. Also, he's got the superior work rate plus his constant forward pressure is likely to sway the judges. He's also fought the better opposition whereas Opetaia has only fought Breidis (twice).
However, I DON'T think it'll be an easy fight since Jai is a natural Cruiserweight, southpaw and has great athleticism. Let's see how he does against lefty Ramirez first!Me have Parker’s Cousin Buff Guy Jai’s SKILLED Slugger Style being bad for Fat Dave whose power and volume decreased when he moved up to 175:(

being completely real, we have to call it what it is. The current era literally sucks. None of these guys fight on any kind of regular basis. It’s ridiculous. Professional fighters -even the best of the best- don’t even fight anymore. You hardly ever see them fight.Inactivity is a major disgrace in boxing, reason why it’s not growing, ffs, we can’t see two of the best in Artur and Bivol fight more than once a year is a damn shame, how can they expect to have a decent fan base arghh Saudi overs effect Buff Guy Artur’s one a year bothers me less as he’s now 41. How do you two see Fat Dave-Parker's Cousin Buff Guy Jai going?

Agreed but given that he's 41yo, it would be FOOLISH to face Bivol again without a tune-up (especially since Dmitry already has one lined up).
Artur DEFINITELY stays in shape between fights, he is almost obsessed with slways being ready
+ Buff Guy Artur is a devout Mooslem. no alcohol damage in his body. His Instagram stays regularly updated with clips of him exercising. Simply passionate about fitness
I'm pretty sure he'll have a tune-up too...he had one lined up before the end of the year which fell through at the last minute.
It would be stupid to face Bivol again after 20 months of inactivity!By the time he fights Benavidez he's probably going to be at least 43 or getting close to his mid 40s. Don't get me wrong, he's a great fighter, only father time is undefeated. How do you two see Fat Dave-Parker's Cousin Buff Guy Jai going?

Good analysis but buff guy Jai is risky he is a big athletic cruiser although he has been on a steady diet of softies lately and look what happened to Andrade making a career out of that before getting steamrolled by fat Dave. It would be an impressive run for Top Soviet and he could do it.I see the Explosive Skilled Slugger Buff Guy Jai mopping Fat Dave
Fat Dave has a good jab but lacks the footwork to fully outbox opps
Parker’s Cousin Buff Guy Jai is Top Soviet Bivol’s toughest match
Top Soviet Bivol 8-4 Buff Guy Jai!
Its crazy to do that, you could cause a tear easily lol Hopefully he doesn't get hurt and we get the trilogy so everyone can see how much more convincingly Top Soviet wins and its in boxing history then on to Fat Dave trying to lose weight to fight Bivol where he will lose and everyone will say Bivol drained him. Fat Dave averages 45 punchers per round same number as Top Soviet Bivol
so Fat Dave too is volume in bursts rather than a constant flow of shots unlike a true all up in your ass swarmer
If he drains himself for 175, I could see his stamina taking a hit and his volume decreasing to 35
None the less good stamina or bad stamina Fat Dave is a notorious cross stepper who follows in straight lines vs movers like Caleb
flawed footwork doesn’t lateral step to cut them off
Top Soviet times Fat Dave the Cross Stepper with jabs and boxes circles around him
first thing first Fat Dave must not allow Fat Gilbert to upset him
mopping p4p king Saul and taking the 0’s of Fat Gilbert, Buff Guy Artur, Fat Dave, and Parker’s Cousin Buff Guy Jai would solidify Top Soviet Bivol place as best Eastern Bloc boxer
move out the way Oleksandr and k2
