Now I know what fans of Roy Jones Jr. were going through when the man was still fighting in his 40s and getting flattened, lol. Must of felt terrible knowing what he was in his prime and that mediocre dudes are able to put him away. Facing JP for Manny would strictly be a money play because there are no titles involved. I preferred his attempt vs Barrios so at least he could say he was 45/46 years old and won a world title which would of been some historic feat. to add to his accomplishments. Though vs JP, other than being in the spotlight again for a mega event, there is nothing there besides the payday. Worse, if he were to lose to a guy like JP, even by decision, that's equivalent to being ktfo, lol.

Figured this would happen. Makes sense. Manny needs money. Jake needs a name to sell after such a huge payday. I will not watch but hopefully those that do enjoy it.
