Like promoters, sanctioning bodies are all corrupt and adjust the rules if there is a high earning potential.
In other super fights they have adjusted their rates and it was not 3%, it is a practice they have been doing for a while. Imagine having to pay 3% to each sanctioning body? It is not like it is an investment for Crawford at this point of his career but if he seeks another undisputed at a different weight class he might run into problems.
sanctioning bodies, in the US that is at the state level they are major problems too.
they should have never sanctioned Tyson - Jake paul even as an exhibition much less a pro fight. Tyson is 58 years old and walks with a cane. That they even used 2 minute rounds is an admission his health isnt up for a full pro fight. They did it for money.
Here you go. One of thee biggest haters in this b!tch. Foh kid
How is that hating? Get his dick out of your mouth.
He chased undisputed titles. It's not a slight. It's facts.
And how many men have been undisputed in 3 different weight classes?
Actually Henry Armstrong was the FIRST to do it...he held world titles at Featherweight, Lightweight & Welterweight SIMULTANEOUSLY back in the day when there was only one champion per division and 8 divisions overall. He was also robbed in his attempt to win the Middleweight world title in a fight many people thought he won.
A real BEAST of a fighter.
His biggest achievement is being a 4 division lineal champion, which has zero to do with any belts.
Only three men in the history of the sport have won lineal titles in 4 divisions: Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao, and Terence Crawford. That's it.

Crawford is starting to GRATE on me as of late. He used to be classy like other distinguished champions such as Inoue, Usyk & Bivol but has started mouthing off and acting 'ghetto' lately.
Hope he gets his shit together soon as you wouldn't here the likes of Usyk or Bivol talking this way.
No but they did strip Adonis Stevenson for not fighting opponents within the top 10.
Blue - Good to hear. I would make it that you have to face a top 5 opponent once per year.
belts titles labels are overstated and commonly used marketing gimmicks
at the end of day who you beat, how you won, and when you won
This why modern day guys cant breach the mythical top 5 all time
Sugar Robinson
Harry
Henry
Sam
Ezzard
Two time undisputed and undefeated sounds better on paper
Until you compare who they beat
but examining opps requires people to think and use their brains!
Floyd made top 10 all time not because he’s undefeated but because he easily ran through 9 hall of famers which includes 5 all time greats
manny made top 15 all time because he has wins over 5 all time greats
Facts ^^^^^
Thats why belts (s) dont matter. There should only be only be one BELT. You can only wear one belt with a suit. belts titles labels are overstated and commonly used marketing gimmicks

The belts don't matter, yet that's what his biggest career achievements are about - collecting all the belts.
He's not cleaning out divisions, so which is it?
Became the fcukin man in 4 divisions, no need to act new. Tf you talking bout

There are champions and belt holders. Barrios, Rolly, Haney and whoever else are all belt holders. Period
Do casuals believe this statement ? I doubt it. Most casuals cant name a current "champion" in a division let alone a random belt holder.
they’d be contenders in the one belt real igga times
Barrios on the lower end

To casuals belts do matter. Me personally no, because you can be the best person in the division and not hold a belt. Or you can be a champion like Barrios and be trash.

For many belt holders become the recognizable champ that others strive to face. It keeps that belt holders name relevant and at the top of the pack. The method of which they're distributed however and handled leaves a lot to be desired.
We know Youtubers can face each other for nothing but respect and earn millions with zero belts involved, just personality. Fighters need the belts if they got no personality so people know whose the champ and why he's at the top. It does help for casuals who appreciate a dude decked out in belts and knowing he's champ. Though I think the organizations themselves are taking advantage of the situation.
