DAZN says 10:45 AM CT and the YouTube link attached says 12 PM CT start time for the prelims.
I assume 10:45 AM CT is the real time.

So is this pile of shyte indicative of the "12 +" PPVs that will be included if I succumb to the grift and give up 500 bucks for next year? This fight would have been on HBO B.A.D not that long ago. Vote with your currency, folks...
Absolutely correct. That's exactly what they were hoping for.
But I'd still expect more from Eubank. He wasn't there from the first bell. You sign the contract, you fight. If you can't fight under those terms, then don't sign the contract.
Maybe he needed more protection from manager and promoter. They would have been desperate for the fight - Eubank probably didn't need it quite so much. Especially not on those terms.
by all accounts he had signed a rematch clause on exactly the same terms before they even had the first fight
That's insane to me. The buck stops with him because ultimately he has to sigh it in the end but he or his team have showed no negotiation skills here.
Surely you leave some of the rematch terms until after the fight I.e weight, rehydration. Then win the first fight and get the rematch on your own terms because you have leverage after winning.
Ah well, irrelevant now. He's completely finished anyway and wasn't that great to begin with.
Still doesn't really tell us where Benn is either. He was in there with a corpse. Put it this way, Liam Smith from the first Eubank fight would've done that Eubank last night in 3 rounds again.
I think Benn will be competitive with B and C level fighters and luckily for him the 147 title sign is mostly that right now.
It's the exact same rehydration restriction the IBF has for their title fights (except at heavyweight and in unifications).
And fighters wouldn't come down to this weight if they couldn't be optimal. Eubank did come down because the money was there for it.
Ultimately it's two guys fighting in there. If Eubank won people would look at the size difference. When Benn won you might look at how drained Eubank was.
Fact is they shouldn't really be fighting. The reason they did is money, not sport.
can you imagine people like haney trying to reach it, he was clocked at 160 in the ring from a 135 weigh in
I don't know if there's a perfect solution. I favour a return to the original eight divisions personally so there would be weight discrepancies there.

Benn fought well
But let's be real. The reason rehydration clauses happen is in the hope the opponents looks spent like Eubank did.
They got exactly what they wanted

Idk if I’m getting bitter as I get older, but I’m starting to find Adam Smith intolerable. Shouting constantly and saying OTT stuff, whereas the other guys actually explain the action.
hes always been annoying

There's been a lot of criticism of Adam Smith so you're not alone. The unnecessary shouting is unbearable at times.

he was absolutely drained, he looked shredded like they just left the weigh-in. idk why he would agree to a rehydration clause
