Hi everyone,
I’m thinking about getting a neck lift and wanted to hear from others who have gone through the process. I’m particularly curious about recovery time, scarring, and overall results, both short-term and long-term. How painful was the procedure and how noticeable were the changes?
Did you have any complications or regrets afterward? I’m also wondering about different techniques and whether a surgical or non-surgical option is better depending on age and skin condition.
Any tips on choosing a surgeon or what to expect would be really helpful.
Hey! I actually went through a neck lift about a year ago, so I can share my experience. The recovery wasn’t too bad — the first week was the toughest with swelling and tightness, but the pain was manageable with meds. Most of the visible swelling went down after 2–3 weeks, and I was comfortable going out in public after about a month.
Scarring really depends on your surgeon — mine hid the incisions well around the ears, so they’re barely noticeable now. The results were subtle at first but became more defined over a few months as everything settled.
I didn’t have any major complications, just some numbness for a while, which is pretty normal. If you’re deciding between surgical and non-surgical, it really depends on your skin elasticity and how much tightening you need best nose job surgeon— non-surgical works for mild cases, but for sagging skin, surgery gives longer-lasting results.
My biggest tip: take time choosing your surgeon. Look for board certification, before-and-after photos, and honest reviews — that makes all the difference in both safety and outcome.
thank you so much for your suggestion
