I only want to see them vs each other or Ortiz. There is no interest from me seeing them vs Bakhram, Tellez, Fundora etc
The only fight that makes sense skill, ability wise is Bud vs Boots because like I keep saying they are levels above the rest.
Proper ATG material. Ortiz is decent he can maybe pose problems, I'd accept this.
Bud and Boots are elite - I don't mean elite by this garbage eras standards I mean historically great, real elite. These other guys are merely 'good' and that is only really by todays standard, another era probably journeymen.
You can not sell me Boots vs Bakhram - His only win is vs Tim Tyszu who is practically YT level in terms of skill and he was bouncing shots off Bakhram left and right.
He's maybe the best at 154 now but on the grand scheme he's not that good, real talk. Just a big stiff guy with a bit of a left hook on him
What I am saying is these guys have nothing for Bud or Boots, nothing. They don't win a round.
And I feel I need to say this because fans are going to delude themselves that they're good even great fights and competitive only for Boots/Bud to obliterate them and for fans to backtrack and say they was overrated and how Tyszu flattered them and give Bud/Boots no credit.
I don't get boxings obsession with Fundora this guy is a modern day Richard Hall. He sucks!
Just reading the OP, I'm not sure the entire argument is there that the quality of opposition isn't worth it when look who Boots just beat, lol. Is that a proper gauge for how he would do against the guys you mentioned wouldn't win a rd against him? I'm not saying they're great, but they're definitely better than what Boots had in front of him Saturday night. I wouldn't mind seeing how those played out. Besides, Crawford might be ripe for the picking soon. He looked good against Canelo who despite him having to move up in weight, Canelo also is becoming ripe for the picking and it just might of played into Bud's hands.
Because Diego is squared away, focused, young, and same weight as Saul
David is questionable he BOOZES and possibly still parties?
peep Diego's Instagram it's boring lot of photos of him being a good husband and dad. Few are alpha enough to pull a Floyd beat them all WHILE LIVING A PLAYBOY LIFESTYLE. This is charismatic and sells tickets but backfires on fighters other than Floyd

That's all well and good but Pacheco DOESN'T have the talent to be an elite fighter in my opinion (unlike Benavidez and to a lesser extent Ortiz). Whilst it's great to read that he's a hard-working family man, I still think he's the weakest prospect at Super Middleweight and would lose to the likes of Sheeraz, Mbilli & Iglesias let alone Canelo/Crawford.
what i find a bit odd is that little teo & his racist remarks and baiting & boots had this guy right there all he had to do was make the fight & teach him a painful lesson on behalf of a lot of people im sure who would want to see him staring at the lights but boots after his best performance says no thanks im off to 154 actually to ko some guy called lima u probably never heard of him buts that ok, just make the fight and shut teo up as a named fighter u would have got so much credit for it as well
I'm a boots fan, but it's time for him to get active against Top opposition. His plan for 2026 needs to be three fights, clearing out the 154 lb division.
I fear he's going the Crawford route, never fighting prime, elite fighters.
Boots eats way too many clean counters to even entertain the notion he'd beat Terence Crawford.
I think Boots takes chances to put on a show. I don't think he'll take those same chances against Crawford
Lol how can you mention Pacheco in the same breath as Boots? Surely you meant Ortiz or Benavidez aka somebody with the POTENTIAL to become a star?
Agree on Usyk-Itauma though... especially after Jalolov's diabolical performance against a journeyman the other day :rofl:Because Diego is squared away, focused, young, and same weight as Saul

Difficult one because yea really he should fight the ranked fighters at 154 and he will slice through them and maybe only face some opposition vs Ortiz but none of those fights really excite me as a fan
But the best fight anyone in the world can make in boxing right now would be Bud vs Boots next year and when ppl look back in 10 years they will regret not seeing them fight more than some bum ass 154 ranked fighter who no one will remember
Bud is gonna probably walk away so Boots may as well just move forward
The Bud - Boots ship has sailed, Bud could well never fight again. Boots needs to get another fight in the calendar fast and not waste time with Twitter wars with Ortiz and Oscar.
I disagree I think Boots beats Bud and is all wrong for him, not many will agree with me because Bud has achieved more and beat better fighters, he is more proven and I wouldn't be bummed if Boots did lose I think its a fight that will elevate the both of them.
Either way its not like he could do much worse than Canelo and certainly no worse than Spence.
Technicians like Bud always look great until they're met with one whose on par and has superior athleticism
It's difficult to say what Ennis can do at an elite level because he hasn't fought anyone that's at the top.
He has one win vs a top ranked guy, looked good. So there's that but it's no where near enough to assess who he may do vs a Crawford.
As most have said, Ennis needs to prove himself vs Top opponents. He's 28 years old so needs to get a move on.
I only want to see them vs each other or Ortiz. There is no interest from me seeing them vs Bakhram, Tellez, Fundora etc

The Great Nash agrees with you. Ortiz vs Boots, the winner faces Crawford. Then maybe in 2-3 years some better guys come around for Boots and Ortiz as Crawford is almost done now anyway. Nash out - His Majesty

Crawford offered him a voluntary defense too. Ennis turned it down because he only wanted to fight on Showtime. That's how Crawford ended up fighting Avanesyan.
oh forgot about that one as well
so many opportunities and none taken and his fans say everyone is ducking him thats why he cant get bigger fights lol
that russian 'bogeyman' of 154 is looking for a good opponent in fact he cant find one at all as ortiz cried off
boots has now put the entire division on 'notice' lol wtf notice of what exactly? that im going for the wba full title and when i eventually get it i may or may not arrange a fight with one or zero of you?
bud would have fought boots if boots had made himself his mando and forced him to do it
but boots didnt do that, lots of up and coming guys do that as they know thats the only sure fire way to get the fight, usyk did it with AJ
when i recently listened to boots and his talk about the teo fight and why he didnt take it i was listening to spoof, he went on and on about whatever decision i make people will question it like he was some super duper star, well of course people will question your decisions, u were offered turki money to fight ortiz but said no im staying at 147 then when teo says ill take you on boots u say no actually im going to 154 lol

Bud is laughably better than Boots. In terms of levels, someone like Murtazaliev is way closer to Boots than Boots is to Bud.
A good counter puncher is gonna be a nightmare for Ennis IMO, especially someone who can catch and counter, Bud would light him up.

Lima is #10 with the WBC, #9 IBF #8 in the WBA...
Sanctioning body rankings are a joke, mate. 11 out of 17 of the IBF's top rated contenders currently are not in the TBRB top ten.
Your guy is in a deep division and needs to start facing some of the legit top ten guys next before we crown him the new SRR.
Boots vs Bakhram, Fundora, Baraou, Tellez or whoever. They just aren't good or a threat and they haven't done anything more than Boots has.
Lima is #10 with the WBC, #9 IBF #8 in the WBA yet it was deemed as a comical mismatch which it was. .
jazus i think this boots guy has hypotnised some people, just give him a total pass right up to p4p goat is next
He wouldn't get the credit. This is why it has to be Bud or Ortiz.
I won't even give him credit even. What is there to give him credit for fighting guys a full 4-5 levels below?
Fighting guys who haven't a single advantage anywhere?
Boots vs Bakhram, Fundora, Baraou, Tellez or whoever. They just aren't good or a threat and they haven't done anything more than Boots has. Fans will just apply the same logic and say they have only beaten 1 top 5 opponent who was cheeks which would be fair.
Lima is #10 with the WBC, #9 IBF #8 in the WBA yet it was deemed as a comical mismatch which it was. Granted Ring rankings are a lot better but there are so many weak divisions and belt holders I no longer put much stock into them.
I just genuinely don't believe he will get any credit they'll just say the divisions ****** which they kinda do.
Sorry but I just don't care for them anymore than I do for Usyk vs ordinary Joe Parker or someone like Fabio Wardley to me its just a waste of time.
Lima's not even in the Top 20 or 30 probably. He's crap and the fight shouldn't have even happened in the first place.
Boots should fight ranked opponents, very simple. Build a resume, so far he doesn't have one in any capacity.
When young fighters come up, the elite ones, they fight the best guys that are available and beat the #5, #4, #3 and then eventually the #1 and become #1. Then if they move up they do the same.
That's what Mayweather did, Pacquaio, Roy Jones, Crawford, Canelo, Inoue, essentially anyone that's been elite over the course of boxing history.
His main course of action should be to fight Ortiz next, if no Ortiz, whoever is #2 and then #3 or whoever else, then try and move up and do the same. That's how you prove yourself.
So far he ain't proved jack. He's in the same boat as Tank, but worse.
