First off. Crawford was not the smaller man in the ring. Yes he moved up but Bud was actually a little bigger than Canelo, especially when you include the reach. Secondly, I scored it 7-5 Crawford. A lot of Buds punches were getting blocked and Canelo showed glimpses of the defense he had vs Danny Jacobs. People are saying Bud stood his ground, not really. He was on the move the whole night. It wasn’t Shakur type of movement but he didn’t stand his ground like Bivol or Mayweather. He was throwing a bunch of slapping punches and yeah Canelo looked frustrated a couple of times but it looked like it has more to do with him making small mistakes because his body wasn’t reacting the way he wanted it to. Bivol dominated Canelo. Mayweather dominated Canelo. This was just a loss.
I wouldn't call it a domination, though it was a nice win overall and impressive in what Crawford achieved overall. I think that's part of the moment folks are caught up in and maybe used "domination" out of the excitement the moment brought with it.
For me, Crawford fought a very safe fight. He picked his spots and moments to have bursts of combinations. These looked good because in some of them, Canelo looked helpless to defend against. He also marked up Canelo's face pretty good in ways we haven't seen for some time due to Canelo's recent crappier opposition. Crawford didn't look like he had a mark on his face in the post conference (nor against Spence which is crazy).
It's a fight I've watched a couple times now, but don't have much interest again. I'd much watch his actual domination of Spence Jr. where Spence kept coming at him and couldn't do anything to Crawford and Crawford wasn't necessarily fighting a "safe" fight like he did vs Canelo. It made it a lot more exciting.
its funny but some like compubox and some dont well
for the bud canelo fight compubox had canelo outlanding bud in total punches in 6 rounds with 2 even
so a clear win for canelo then lol
for the bivol fight compubox had bivol outlanding canele total punches in 12 out of 12 rounds lol
so is bud getting no love from compu box as well as his local cops LOLlol stats and scorecards are always suspect when it comes to Saul
compubox is complete sh-ite. should not have any credibility. its not accurate in the slightest.
- - Compufraud is a brilliant hoaxing device to dupe the dumbest fans in all of sports.
$$$$$$$$$$
Bud was surprisingly the bigger man in there. Hgt, reach. Although not proven at 168.
If you turn off Kellerman and Ward’s bias commentary, it was a close fight. It literally came down to the last 2 rounds on the scores.
- - Stopped listening to stupid announcers who always making the fight about them instead of letting us enjoy a good fight without the idiocy of Jellymon, Wart, and the rest.
canelo after his bivol loss straight in for wrist surgery
canelo after his bud loss straight in for elbow surgery
lol
hes still got fights left v the berlangas of the world but looks like the writings on the wall for him now

Is that you, Steve Weisfeld?

He did.
Most of the fans, media, & other fighters had Crawford winning pretty easily.
Only Crawford haters or Canelo stans generally had it close, but still with Crawford winning,
Even Canelo didn't make any protests about the decision
Mayweather took the center of the ring within 10 seconds of the first round against Canelo, probably one of the biggest surprises at the time; I don't remember challenger Crawford doing that until like the 12th round.
Crawford who appeared just as big, asked for the fight, who recently had a long KO streak, and was the challenger is out there fighting in reverse most of the fight.
Yet 7-1 on good ole Skippers card. We all love him, we all know him, that Skipper.
Respectfully strongly disagree.
Cotto landed hard shots. He fought until the end.
Canelo imo never pushed changed after the 3rd maybe 4th round.
Saul did in the final 10 seconds of round 12 when a TBud counter left nearly folded Saul's legs!
parallels the Floyd buckled Miguel's legs in round 12
wide but competitive 9-3 decision
similar to Floyd-Miguel

Bro what fight were you watching?
Crawford didn’t blank him like Floyd and Bivol did, but he dominated him. The fight was never in doubt past round 3.
Canelo needed a ko to win once we got to round 7, at latest 8.
That’s domination to most people.wide but competitive 9-3 decision
similar to Floyd-Miguel
Madrimov gave Crawford a tougher fight.
Call it whatever you want. Doesn't matter.
because Madrimov is not a one punch fighter like canelo.
canelo's style is so easy to read at this point.
For them to get those paydays, they need to put in the work and make proper business decisions. Just because they're in the top 10 doesn't mean they deserve a big payday.
Nah, they just need to be a loudmouth American with a big promoter. If you're impressed by that and think that's how divisions should be organised then go support the sanctioning bodies.
I want to see the best fight the best.
