I have no idea, Spence and the way Bud took him apart was a real good win and this was even more impressive even without the stoppage given him moving up. Beating Pistol at the time he had was a good win, so was unifying 140 against a defending 2 belt titlist who got his titles on the road the hard way but other than that the rest of his resume is not fantastic.Shawn Porter too:cool:
A great fighter no doubt but due to a lack of quality wins, he is not in the convo.Sugar Leonard and Floyd beat multiple greats but aren't top 5. That's with Sugar Leonard beating a top 10 Roberto and Floyd wide decisioning a top 15 manny
how can TBud be with his one win over a lower tier great Saul
i think he has to beat Adrien Broner first. When Crawford first started breaking through Broner was a top 5 P4P guy. Broner has never been stopped. If Crawford can stop him, then yes, but, styles make fights and of course Broner, who would be reprimed for the fight, would start as the favorite to win, but Canelo did also, so Crawford can win as the underdog. Broner vs Crawford PPV for all the Marbles and a few belts. Let's get it on! Nash out - His Majesty
I don't understand this. He has to beat Broner to be one of the greatest? Broner hasn't been a top contender in years. Am I not reading this correctly?

The titles are so so meaningless in this regard, its about who you beat? How good were they at the time you beat them? We can make titles up for all fights FFS.
Also, it doesn't matter who is at fault or any circumstances leading to why someone doesn't have a resume more complete with quality wins.
I mean we use this criteria to judge other fighters, no? Don't we constantly put Mike Tyson or other fighters down because they avoided tough fights? I'm just saying the word 'duck' is commonly used in boxing circles.
A few more wins and then I really do think he can be top 10. He wasn't in the conversation before Nel o fight so one win as underdog really has fast tracked himself.
It really was a good move of bud to fight once a year so that he could concentrate on training 10 months a year for a Nel o fight.

I know his opposition is lacking but is that his fault or Bob Arum's? From what I understand, Henry Armstrong is the only other pro boxer to be undisputed in three weight classes.
