Let's be honest. Canelo ducked Demetrius Andrade. It was a bad match up for him and he avoided him at 154*, 160 and 168 because he knew.
Canelos track record aint looking so good.
If Mayweather, Bivol, Crawford were able to do it And Lara gave him a good fight which should had been a draw. I think Demetrius Andrade would had beaten him too.
Maybe 7-5 or draw robbery.
Excuses. His career was a joke. He struggled with Euro level guys like Martinosyan, Sulecki, and Williams. He ducked the Charlos and Lara.
Zero top level wins in 33 pro fights. Clownshoes.
He didn't "struggle" in any of those fights and none of that changes the fact that Canelo ducked Andrade. Don't talk about what Andrade didn't do when Canelo was fighting boxers like Rocky Fielding, Liam Smith, and Julio Caesar Chavez jr over Andrade. Who did any of them beat?
Plant actually beat good fighters. Anthony Dirrell, Caleb Truax, Jose Uzcategui.
Not the deepest resume in the world but let's compare it to the ZERO good wins that Andrade has.
Dude Dirrell was 38 years old. Yall gotta stop this bs lol. So now thats a creditable win ? Truax was also faded lol.
Man. Come on now. Canelo resume is crazy overrated.
I am not here to debate records. I am here ro state a point. Canelo avoids slick fighters with a certain style.
I dont really rate Plant on the same level as Demetrius Andrade personally but I can see how that would be his closest counterpart? I think at 154lb. Andrade makes it to the cards on a tricky fight.
He did decent early on against the Mexican monster. A fighter Canelo ducked and that was at a weight class above were he should be at.

Okay, perhaps I misread what you said, but I still don't think Andrade would have beaten Canelo. Canelo would have caught up to Andrade and probably beat him down similar to how he caught up to Plant and heck, he was landing thunderous shots to Crawford's side, they just weren't having an effect. I still believe it takes a special fighter to beat Canelo and Crawford is one.

Oh you're like a JOKE poster. You're just trying to make everyone laugh. I get it now. That's cool.
Damn dude. I thought you were alright when you came on my Rick James post a few months back. So now when you dont agree, you want to name call. I get it. How very political of you to do that.
You got the right avatar Pic alright. Smdh.
Never mentioned a comparison between him and Crawford. I made a objective opinion that canelo avoids a certain type of boxing style.

Andrade is boring.
To Canelo's credit he fought Mayweather, Trout, Lara, Crawford, BJS, Bivol (granted I think this was a cherrypick that went wrong) he has fought a lot of guys who are wrong for him stylistically. Even guys like Plant to a degree.
No two fights are the same but its hard for me to say its a duck when he has fought and beat what are essentially better versions, the guy IS boring af, he has beaten nobody and he has no fan base. Truth is Andrade brings nothing to the table.
If Canelo did fight him he'd get no credit. Nobody cared for that fight but maybe 10 hardcore fans who speculated Andrade was this and that based on little more than him fighting domestic level opposition in which he was hurt/dropped or struggled vs multiple times
Idk man. I think you are coming off pretty disingenuous. If Canelo is your boy you can just say that.
we can't know that but canelo would be the favourite. callum smith was considered a bigger threat than saunders (taller, longer, harder punch) but it was an easy fight for canelo after 1 round. canelo tried that same plan (destroying one arm) with bivol and it backfired. bivol was confused and pointed out afterwards that his arm hurts and everything else was easy. saunders had some success until one punch changed everything. andrade was at the similar level as saunders then but longer and more disciplined (no ballooning to heavyweight between fights). if canelo's plan wasn't working, andrade had a chance to win. also, andrade would be highly motivated and try to have the best camp of his life for this fight. i doubt he would quit like when he faced 8 years younger, bigger and relentless opponent for much less money.
too many variables to predict the result for sure. i just want them to fight the fights. it doesn't matter who wins. none of them are my friends and family and they will never care about my existence. i am in it for the sport only.
Respect ^
Andrade's best win was a SD over a washed Vanes Martirosyan. Feather-fisted Vanes dropped him.
What on earth are you talking about????
Whats canelos best win ? A robbery over GGG? A faded cotto ? Or a faded Kovalev? I will wait.
Mayweather, Bivol, Crawford & Lara are much better boxers than Andrade.
With Andrade I think while it is a bad match up for Canelo in some sense but at the same time one where he'd eventually track down Andrade and stop him.
I think its sort of similar to Plant, BJS, etc where he has real problems with their movement but he makes too many mistakes and frankly doesn't have the defence or durability to withstand the inevitable. I think Canelo would find him eventually and get him out of there. Maybe trailing at the time
To be fair BJS ducked Demetrius Andrade at 160 and ran to 168. That wasnt the best version of BJS. Plant was a good boxer. Idk know if I can say BJS is better than Demetrius Andrade because he ducked alot of people himself. But I respect your analysis
No he wouldn't have, this guy never beat any world class fighter and struggled with Liam Williams, Andrade is a C level fighter throwing that amateurish bolo uppercut.
Canelo's best non-judge influenced win is Caleb Plant bruh
That would be an interesting fight now. Andrade hasn't fought in 2 years and Canelo's power is fading rapidly. It would be fun to see if Canelo can overwhelm him with his strength or if Andrade is unconventional enough to give him problems. I could be wrong but those 2 styles might mesh really well. Get on it Al Haymon!
That's fair ^
