Mayweather wouldn’t even fight Young Canelo at 154, had to be 152. Crawford at 38 years of age jumped 3 divisions and gave Canelo a beatdown at 168. Stood toe to toe and beat him up. 3 time undisputed when Floyd couldn’t do it once.
Canelo himself said:” Crawford is way bettter than Mayweather.” There’s no comparison.
Crawford is the best of this era and arguably the best ever along with Robinson Duran Leonard Usyk etc.

it's a way better win than bivol's win and Floyd's win over canelo in my book. the risk was there for Crawford, while those 2 were just comfortable.
Why does every single ****ing big fight become about Floyd. Geez.
Because that's how great Mayweather was in that ring.
Vegas had Canelo winning, but the overwhelming majority of fans, boxers and trainers picked Bud to win.
Don't misunderstand me. I still like Floyd Mayweather and is a fan of his. I am not here to throw shade at him. Sure, his resume' is much better than Terence Crawford's and I can admit that. All i am saying that the one can make a sound argument for it.
For a fighter to win a championship crown in three different multiple weight classes is absolutely remarkable. The last to do it was Henry Armstrong. However, that was win there was a champion per weight class. However, Terence "Bud Crawford has gone one further.
He has done it in the four-belt era. Which makes his achievement that much more amazing. It doesn't necessarily make him an all-time greater fighter than Mayweather. That is for history to decide.
doing it in a four belt era isn’t anymore impressive imo
if it was one belt days the 3 lesser beltholders would be contenders
Henry has the distinction of SIMULTANEOUSLY being a 3 division champ
a feat that won’t ever be repeated
Name Crawford’s top five wins. Then compare them to Floyd’s. Go ahead. I’ll wait for you to embarrass yourself. Crawford is not in the same stratosphere as Floyd. Mother****er really talking about belts like anyone cares about that ****.

comparing 152lb Canelo to 168 Canelo is ****ing hilarious on your part.
Yeah yeah, "catch weight doe". Regardless of that, Floyd fought a younger, fresher, more dangerous and much closer to prime canelo, and beat him more comfortably. Canelo's been on the decline for a few years now.

Comparing a confident 22 year old champion to a 35 year old who KNOWS he needed judges help in 3 past fights is fucking hilarious on your part.
Overall Floyd has the better wins and beat an arguably better, more dangerous and definitely fresher Canelo more comfortably. That's not taking anything away from Crawford who's had a great career himself and will go down as an ATG.

Sometimes we have a Henry Armstrong or a willie pep that enter boxing. They don't care about weight classes. They are so great they trump through weight classes even trump though great big fighters......I don't wanna hear it at this point. Bud is a top 5 ATG a Armstrong like fighter
He has a much better career then mayweather. And if bud would have fought pac those years back he would have best him down or knocked him out with a counter. The man talent is so silly u just gotta admit it at this point.

Spence and Nelo
What am I missing (name wise)
The soviet man can get a hold of some 154 belt if they build him up right, will that turn him into a name ? I won't be looking too much into names since Maidana had 3L's and arguably got the W. Also Kell Brooks was the top challenger to the 147 title at the time followed by Porter and Thurman. Of which Crawford at least beat Porter while Floyd went a level below that by cashing in a past it Berto fight.
One can make a very strong argument for it. For example, Money May has never unified won a single undisputed crown in any weight division but Terence Crawford has done it three times.

Nice ragebait. And I guess were also gonna pretend that this is “prime” Canelo even though he’s looked like ass in his last five or so fights.
I've been saying that for weeks leading up to this fight. That Canelo is shopworn and has been showing signs of aging and decline over the past few years. Now tonight we all had the chance to witness it. Both his reflexes, upper body movement and hand to eye coordination were off in this fight.
However, that does not detract that Bud had to move up several weight classes; Three exact to fight him with no catchweight or rehydration clause. We got the Canelo at full strength when he fought Bud as opposed to Mayweather who was also the A side when he was not.
