He wouldnt fight Pac when challenged in 2010/11. He wouldnt fight Margo when challenged. Or Sergion Martinez. Fantasy fights when talking about floyd are pointless cos we known he would never have accepted them
Because you know who fought everyone. Floyd only deals in fantasy
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight :haha:
KTFO 2x before facing a live body :lol1:
Letting a part time special ed teacher rob him
Beating Pac was not special.
I dont think anyone has yet to answer the actual question. A lot if people have said who they thought would win the fight, but the question is, who would be the favorite?
I think Floyd opens up as a slight favorite. He had a lot larger fan base at the time, so they wouldve bet him up leading up to the fight, with a late surge of betting on GGG pushing the odds back down to Floyd being a slight favorite
GGG vs May....sigh
So much is expected of May
So little of "that other guy" (teehee)
A better thread would be
"GGG kept his 'anyone from 154 to 168' promise and fights Ward !"
Get smashed into oblivion for the trouble.
Ward's last fight at 168 was in 2013 and in 2014 his trainer said that he could no longer make that weight.
Also worth noting that Ward never kept his promise to move up to HW and fight Klitschko. And the only thing Andre the fiddler ever smashed into oblivion was Kovalev's nuts.
May vs this guy
May vs that guy
Why isn't "you know who" EVER matched against anyone :lol1: ?!?!?
Because you know who fought everyone. Floyd only deals in fantasy
:lol1: How could this possibly be a serious question? Golovkin would have destroyed Floyd. There are weight classes for a reason, as we will see tomorrow night.
No one smashes May
No one :nono:

He might lose if he tries that, he is good at head movement, countering but those slow feet hold him back then he has to reset and try and trap an opponent all over again once they skate off. Here I think he needs to press the action, be busy.Saul is the white boy Jamez Toney but with salsa
you're a fan of golovkin the guy who took no risks AT ALL
yet demand a guy who went up in weight 4 times take more risks
ROFL
golovkin selling wolf tickets and jeeting a fight with Ward is why the boxing gods punished golovkin with no decision over Saul
Let see if Terence incorporates the clinch tomorrow
ward ducked ggg. thats literally been proven in court. why say such utter nonsense? wards own promoter said so. and if you are talking about wards offer with roc nation...it was fake. you dont want to fight someone by offering to fight them in a years time. roc nation also admitted they didnt want ggg right away. so silly and so easy to trick people. you do realize ward is the guy that ducked bute, got thrown off hbo, was fighting on bet, had no other options right? this is the guy who has credibility when it comes to making fights?
If Canelo fights like he did against Scull then Crawford won't have to, that pace would really help Bud select single shots and counters so we'll see what Canelo shows up.In sit down with Max Saul said he'll bring back the Slique White Chocolate Saul for TBud
Saul boxing philosophy be slique when facing fast opponents
Golovkin was a small MW. His walking around weight was 170 or less. He fought who was there. Not the greatest fighter but I think he has enough to beat Floyd. He'd walk through his punches for one thing.
Floyd never fought an elite level fighter at their best. He cherry picked his way through the divisions against slow plodders and fighters on their way up or down. He would never have taken the risk against GGG or Martinez. you're a fan of golovkin the guy who took no risks AT ALL

Probably GGG at the time he was good at using his jab and pressure to navigate fighters where he wanted them, this is Floyd so it would have been harder to do but I doubt Floyd would be able to keep him honest or be able to do anything but hold and wait for the break if he could tie up GGG with him not cooperating. Maybe Floyd would be crafty enough to stall his way to 12 rds while looking really bad, losing, and making GGG look bad in the process.Let see if Terence incorporates the clinch tomorrow
golovkin most overrated in recent times
this guy was risk averse and happy to camp out in a crappy middleweight division
back in the days they'd jump up a weight or two for better opportunities and glory
golovkin was never that guy

GGG was willing to come down to 154 for Floyd, while Floyd was running his mouth saying he could easily beat Golovkin at 160. Of course Floyd rejected that offer as he did with Sergio Martinez who offered to come all the way down to 150 for Floyd. GGG would have pummeled Floyd for 12 rounds and likely still gets robbed on the scorecards like he did against Canelo in their first two fights. golovkin most overrated in recent times

Floyd didn't believe in himself. That's why what gloves you wore worried him..That's why he had cw? That's why he only fought in backyard.
But floyd would only do 154, so in reality floyd is favourite. At 160, of course ggg

Serious question.
Floyd could probably still win, but the disadvantage he has at moving up in weight is he just doesn’t carry a strong enough punch. It’s easier to have guys with big punches move up in weight because they give the bigger opponent something to respect, but with Floyd he has to really just utilize movement and defensive nature the whole fight to win. A bigger opponent isn’t going to respect Floyd’s punch which makes it that much more difficult for Floyd to secure the win. Manny P and Crawford clearly have stronger punches moving up in weight. Floyd at a lower weight is deadly but him moving up anything past welter weight would be foolish.
