As expected the fight week hype has been an awful bore and that's all it will be. Canelo and Bud never say anything remotely interesting or off script. The whole show sounds totally scripted, Big fight, legacy, blah blah blah. No mind games, no psyche warfare. Just two puppets playing their roles in the production. They already know the outcome. Only a sucker will pay to watch this WWF boxing.
Yes i see this
Beginning to suspect this was a business event. No rematch clause. Canelo doesn't want rematch. Best buds after fight, photos with families, smiles. Canelo may have sold the belts. He's made enough money, way more than he deserved. And now the pressure to face Benavidez is gone. $100m and Canelo is a happy "loser."
its better to do the talking in the ring if possible, i do like a grudge match buildup tho with plenty of trash talk, it does add something to the build up and even the fight sometimes with both guys and camps rialled up
there is a lot on the line with this one, the traditional AA v Mexi clash which is the main one in boxing really i think added to the pride of both fighters which is high & buds undefeated status with both guys having quite vocal camps supporting them and thinking they will win Car parking multiplayer game, if canelo loses its going to be very embarrassing for him and his fans is all i can say
Yes i see this
Bud has been fighting live on hbo, espn, and ppv for a decade without canelo.
Inoue is fighting on Facebook this weekend.
Actual factyes Naoya US promoter top rank fumbled a distribution deal
But Bud will not touch that because he's Canelo's employee this weekend. He will not say or do anything to make the boss look bad. Just like all of Mayweather's hired patsies. None of them were allowed to get personal on Floyd about his beating up women, ducking, handpicking, etc.
You must have forgotten Robert Guerrero's pops.
Naoya is bigger in Japan than TBud is in the US
add in the entire Pacific region and it's a wrap
TBud is fighting Saul the biggest name in boxing ofc this event will eclipse Naoya fighting a Dwarf Mexican Looking Asian

Actual fact
Good.
If I want big personalities, I'll watch WWE:rolleyes:
With Canelo and Floyd you only get pre scripted cliches and soft sparring fake fights which are set ups for the next scam soft sparring session.
Yeah those two have always been bland. Crawford tried against benavidez but was just forced and cringe.
Carnela had help with guys like plant, bumnalgas and bjs who trashed talked while he played the cool calm guy despite being a bore. But carnela has an ego and can be triggered. All bud has to do is mention carnelas failed drug test then the roid rage kicks in and he loses his shlt lol

The bigger global names who don't have a network for their next fights?
Inoue fights the day after bud, yet nobody caresNaoya is bigger in Japan than TBud is in the US

TBud has also hurt his case by being a fight one a year alongside his good friend Usyk
Two a year doubles the entertainment value. Naoya Saul Bivol the bigger global names

Maybe for him it wasn't real anymore because he wanted exhibition matchups for easy money. Though tell that to the many young Mexicanos and other young fighters grinding away in the gym on a daily, working their way up the ranks. It might look sketchy at the highest paid level, but there are still good matches to be made that aren't rigged or based on corruption.
I think depending how the matchup plays out, the fans will be able to see with their own eyes just how corrupt Turki is for the sport or not depending on the outcome.
Floyd said this in the early years 2009 2010 when he was depressed by the extreme pressure on him to stop ducking Pacquiao. I saw the video he said this in a car interview with Ben Thompson or whatever his name is. Floyd was very somber when he said it, the pressure was killing him. HBO really wanted the fight, everyone did but Floyd was terrified of peak Pac who would have slaughtered Floyd easily and brutally like he did to Oscar and Hatton. Floyd knew he was doomed and ducked it with his 100 excuses. Yes there are real fights but most at the top are rigged in one way or another. Usyk is totally real. The fakery problem is in USA.
Boxing isn't real anymore Floyd told us this over a decade ago when he told Fight Hype, "I don't love boxing like I used to because boxing isn't real anymore."

Thank goodness we are boxing fans and not reality TV fans. Leave all the pre-fight drama and nonsense to those who want to watch Real Housewives and junk like that.

Two things wrong right there. First, "a sucker to pay"? It's literally on Netflix. If you don't got Netflix, are you even alive? Second, WWF boxing? With aaaaaallll the talk lately of the farce matchups we're seeing that are literally just that. Just about anything Jake Paul related (Jake-Tank ) . Fraud Jr. wants Mike Tyson now :lame:. You got Youtubers facing each other. How on earth can you call two of the biggest ACTUAL boxers in boxing right now a WWF boxing match?
You might be 1 of the very few that is salty about the matchup when there are plenty other matchups to truly be mad about.
It has to be fixed. Everything in sports is fixed now. My theory is, Turki has it rigged and will profit by the betting. If he's paying out $100m plus to both and the live gate does far less, as I've seen estimates, why would Turki stage this fight at a loss? That's stupid. It's plausible they will look at the betting money and rig the outcome based on that and how Turki can get his money back. Gotta speculate all options, this sport is and always will be rigged. Turki is not the savior, he's gonna prove to be just as corrupt as King Arum Floyd Haymon Tex Richard Doc Kearns Al Weill Gould Jacobs Cayton Finkel etc. It's the nature of the beast.
