I was wondering the same thing and ended up down a rabbit hole looking into this stuff. I even came across Zionova Pharma while reading about weight control and recovery supplements for trainers and athletes. Some of their products seem geared more to folks behind the scenes, like coaches, which made me think maybe there are options out there he just isn't using or doesn’t care to.
Only someone obese would get offended by that post. Get on the treadmill.
You just can't go five minutes without being wrong. Such an embarrassing life.
You can find photos of DJ Khaled and Big Pun before they got big. They did not get big because of a condition, they all get big because of a simple reason, food, lots of it. From there they then get these other health conditions and the older they get also harder for them to then lose the weight
Okay, “doc”.
Please show me any interview where Bomac sounds like a great trainer like Angelo Dundee and Emanuel Steward and Ray Arcel and Gil Clancy and Bouie Fisher.
What is that supposed to mean?
Have you forgotten he also trains Keyshawn Davis & other successful fighters
Whatever happened to Brother Nazzim Richardson, the trainer of Bernard Hopkins?
Have you forgotten he died years ago?
If Bomac was such a good trainer his interviews would be valuable and much sought after. Apparently there's no good Bomac interviews. He's basically Bud's bucket carrier.
Bo mac been training bud since he was 7 years old. Bud turns 37 in two weeks. 30 years together.
Stop the fan bullshi

Shawn Porter mentioned it on The Porter Way Podcast after the Spence win....he said that Bomac suffers from a heart condition and has been for a while. He also showed pics of Bomac when he was younger and his days of boxing and training. I wish I could find the clip but I'll keep looking for it.

As men get older they lose muscle mass and tend to put on weight, especially around the abdomen.
Working out can counteract that. But being older men that becomes harder to do.
That could be it, or it could be that Bomac is a big, KFC, Popeye's, Mickie D, Ho-Ho, cornbread, grits and cheese eatin' mofo! :lol1:
A great trainer would never allow himself to be in that kind of bad shape. He's a bad example with bad discipline and bad eating habits. He does not sound smart or sound in interviews, he's just lucky to be linked to an all time great special talent. Does anybody know the story of how they connected? And what exactly does Bomac bring to the table? He sounds more like a fan than a trainer. Nothing special.

ex athletes from weight class sports tend to put on alot of weight after they retire. They binge after years of disciplined nutrition restriction
BigMac was 7-14 as a pro so unfortunately that excuse DOESN'T wash...
It could be part of a health condition. Look at Buboy Fernandez. The dude was always around Pacquiao in training and even training him. They practically grew up together and shared the same interests, yet Pacquiao was in the condition he was and Buboy was in his. Total opposites.
I'm pretty sure there as a interview about that with Buboy and he indicated something about a health problem he had growing up that caused him to gain a lot of weight. I'm not trying to make excuses for him entirely because a lot of people just eat bad and don't give 1 sh!t about working out for a minute. Though when you see Buboy on the pads and going around the ring with Pacquiao, it kind of confuses you into wondering why he's so overweight. I think he's lost weight since, but I haven't kept up.
