Why doesn’t Zayas fight Bakhram?

is vergil demanding no rehydration clause for the zayas fight? It’s not necessary, only the IBF has a rehydration clause. Zayas has the Bob Arum belt…oops, I mean the WBO belt.

He won’t fight Vergil Ortiz in Las Vegas on PPV for 50/50 purse split. Bakhram would surely fight him in Puerto Rico and likely won’t command a big purse. You think Zayas/Ortis was gonna be a ppv fight? Naw, just another bluff from Oscar. Zayas/Bakhram would be good fight though.

kelly is the highest ranked challenger for ibf and wbo belts without a meaningful win. interesting. wbo should order zayas - kelly. then kelly can swiflty chose between zayas and murtazaliev. after him is ennis, who went wba route, lubin, who went for ortiz, and then there's bohachuk. if kelly wants bakhram, wbo should order zayas - bohachuk next month. that's a good fight. but nooooo. everybody just loves to wait and do nothing for months.

I doubt he would even want a piece of Tim Tzsyu let alone Bakhram who beat Tzsyu in a devastating fashion.

It just proves that Bakhram has a bad promoter. Murtazaliev has a small promoter in Kathy Duva. Duva's decline is one of the effects of HBO's departure. As for the OP, Murtazaliev/Zayas would be the ideal match-up. One issue is that the IBF has already ordered Murtazaliev to face Kelly. Also, TR has not been keen on making unifications. Third, we don't know what their budget is because they're in between networks.
