Everything else is boring, Parker, Kabayel, Wilder, let's see how Usyk deals with this 20 year old tornado Moses Itauma. https://ringobserver.com/usyk-vs-itauma-is-the-superfight/
Pump the brakes, he just beat up a washed up Dillon Whyte who showed up for a paycheck.
The dude only has 12 pro fights, feed him some high ranked contenders and then have him fight Agit Kabayel.
If he beats Kabayel then he's got a shot.
how is itaumas chin though? its obvious he has something that usyks opponents havent had in a while which is one punch ko power and very fast hands for a heavweight as well as the youth advantage, usyk has the clear edge in experience and skills no matter how old he gets, but i cant envision usyk keeping itauma off him just on age difference alone
This is the million dollar question. If it's sturdy, the sky is the limit.
agreed, chisora has little boxing iq but he made it tough for usyk, beterbiev did a good job in the amateurs as well, think he beat usyk twice? i know he beat him once for sure and he lost to usyk as well, remember seeing a video where beterbiev dropped usyk with a straight right to the bodyBig Ukrainian Boy Usyk certainly isn’t no Russian Bivol when it comes to durability and defense
Usyk would be 40 by the time he fights Moses who will be 22
Moses nasty right hook to the body
a very good swarmer would be a handful for either of them
fortunately for both neither are swarmers
Moses having to box on the back foot and fight inside
I don’t think Usyk can infight
but he does have the edge in jab and defense

Moses only 20
a focused Moses can have the longest heavyweight reign ever
Certainly plausible prediction. The longer Usyk stays silent about his new top challenger, the weaker he appears. Usyk must address the threat of Itauma asap.

Itauma might beat anyone now already. But he will give himself an even better chance of he gets rounds under belt.
Fight jermain franklyn, or flip orZhang even
I've been mentioning this matchup on other threads. I think it makes most sense and you can clean out your closest quickly once you find out whose wasting your time and doesn't belong. I think Torrez is also a tad vulnerable and the speed of Itauma is crazy. I'm not sure Torrez could cope with it, but I'd love to see it as long as it lasted. I don't think it lasts long. If it makes it past the 1st rd, someone is out in rd2 and it's probably not Itauma, lol.
As much as I like Richard as a person, Itauma seems to have MORE as a boxer. I don't think it would be pretty for Kiki.
I also don't see it happening until Itauma is pushing 25 and Torrez is pushing 30. Shame, but likely true.
I think Torrez gets smoked. The red flags were there against Vianello. I wouldn't mind seeing Torrez against Big Baby Anderson.
As for Itauma, he blew out a very shopworn Whyte but that doesn't say a whole lot to me (other than Whyte needs to change them up). Itauma against Wardley or Kabayel would be interesting. Wardley isn't much of a boxer but he has heart and has power. Kabayel is tricky and rugged and has a rather nice body attack.

Itauma and Torrez, arguably two sides of the future coin, are currently both 13-0 with 11 KO's apiece. Interesting. No doubt these two will/should collide at some point.

Itauma's punches are so fast so blinding even us fans can barely see them, Imagine trying to avoid getting hit by them. This guy Itauma can rewrite the history books, nothing is beyond his reach if he keeps his head on straight and doesn't succumb to the golden *****cats and other exploiters. Moses only 20

An eliminator is not a final eliminator.
Winning an eliminator is enough to get the shot but the ugly truth is Haymon and Finkel did not want Wilder to fight Whyte, too risky, so they tried everything imaginable to block Whyte and Sulaiman did the dirty work.

Look at the Whyte wikipedia page, it confirms the win vs Chisora was a WBC eliminator. The WBC then scrooed Whyte with some monkey business as manipulated by Haymon to protect Wilder. You just are not bright enough to know the politrickery pulled by Haymon Sulaiman.

That's a BS way of thinking. Moses Itauma isn't quite ready, though today's fight, if he wins, will move him much closer.
Parker and Kabayel would move the needle a GREAT DEAL, removing the forever stigma of having made his name against 2015 - 2021 range elites at the tail end of their career. That would be a fairly big asterisks upon his legacy moving forward to those in the know.
How old are you? Your posts quite often reflect opinions having strong belief and fairly poor knowledge base behind them; an indicator of youth.
Itauma is actually ready for Usyk or anyone from history. Yes he was that impressive vs Whyte in every category of a great young fighter. He was born for this. The skeptics love to be skeptical as it makes them feel wise and brilliant. But sometimes greatness is so flagrantly obvious early on that there's absolutely no doubt - Lennox KO Razor, Vitali KO Hide, Pacquiao KO Ledwaba, Leonard KO Price, Hearns KO Cuevas, Mayorga KO Forrest, Dempsey KO Willard, Hamed KO Tom Johnson, Wladimi KO Mercer.
Parker and Kabayel are okay optional defenses but they can't beat Usyk or Itauma. The fight now is Usyk vs Itauma and it has to be made now. Old Gen vs Next Gen. Matador vs bull. Multi dimensions vs multi dimensions. Sensational vs spectacular. The king vs the prince. Turki is right, this is the fight the world has been waiting for after the disappointing failure of Fury, Wilder and also Joshua. Let the kid have his turn next.
No, he had not earned a mandatory spot. You earn a mandatory spot by winning an eliminator, which Whyte refused to do until the WBC let him fight Rivas for an interim belt (in a fight where Whyte changed gloves after the glove selection meeting and then popped for PEDs).
Being #1 is not an automatic mandatory challenge. Especially when there are other guys that have already won eliminators in line ahead of you.
Whyte knows this, he just counts on boxing fans who don't know the rules or follow the news to make his case for him. Embarrassing.
