Marcos actually tried to win even when Floyd was widing him in the rematch
manny was psychologically deflated as early as after round 1
look at manny's face in the corner between rounds 1 and 2 lol
this Ployd is better than I thought
floyd didnt hardly train for a fight? i kinda doubt that he was a gym rat u would know by the weigh in footage etc that would be an unprofessional thing to do not to train for a guy who just made a fool of his mate broner and was on a good KO streak as well
You are right. He was a gym rat. However, he was a gym rat to a much lesser degree than when he challenged Maidana. Against Pacquiao; He trained so hard that he needed IVs in order to replenish all of the vitamins, minerals and nutrients he lost in his body while training for him.
However, with Maidana; Not so much. He was not properly prepared for that bout. I highly doubt if he hardly trained any or at all for that fight.
The reason being is that he did not respect Maidana skills and thought that the fight would be another cake walk in the park for him. Floyd underestimated him.

You can hold as much as you want, but it's main use is when hurt, so you can survive round, or to stop opponent landing as much as you
Just read my last response to you again since it clearly didn't compute.
This one is an easy one. Obviously it was Marcos Maidana. Money May had to work twice as hard to get himself in fighting condition against Manny Pacquiao because he feared Pac and knew he was a dangerous opponent.

Not really.
It's been a part of the sport from it's genesis and always will be.

Realisticly, there's no need to hold unless your hurt..If floyd held he should lose round as he's either signalling he's been hurt or pac s too much

No. Objectively, no.
Did you read the part where he held LESS THAN 2 TIMES PER ROUND? What part of that are you not getting? Is it the longer words?

Was Floyd holding all fight yes or no
No. Objectively, no.

Who cares what your fake average is Floyd was holding all fight. It was a strategy
Srl and Hearns had 0 holds between them
Less than 2 cliches per road, is very low, and thus, doesn’t translate to a “strategy”
I don’t know where you’re lost on that.
pretty much manny would get beat up at close quarters because Floyd was the better infighter
lol. Floyd was better at holding clinching and running that night
Didn't even land a decent combo
Well he would be more limited with a ref who is helping out his opponent
pretty much manny would get beat up at close quarters because Floyd was the better infighter
manny best hope was midrange
Would have made no difference
Floyd had his Floyd appointed ref separating as soon as Floyd clinched, and he made sure he was facing Manny so he couldn't work inside
If it was Steele he would have made both punch and get out the clinch
Floyd was holding on for dear life and had help
manny was always a limited inside
the best range for fighting Floyd
Jose Miguel Marcos brought it Floyd by fighting him inside something manny could not do
Floyd turned manny into a lost puncher due to his limited infighting
if manny knew what he was doing on the inside
he’d have anti-clinch techniques
Would have made no difference

Except less than 2 per round .

You can't ignore the facts.
Manny Pac had far more fights far more tougher fights. Had already been ko'd
The bold :lol1: !!!!!!!!!
I guess those who beat Pac are HOFers............
Maidana without a doubt. I even thought he might of won a SD when it was over in their first fight.
Granted Manny looked like a shell of himself against Jr. The shoulder injury definitely played into that, but it also wasn't the same Pac that blitzed ODLH/Hatton and Cotto. It was also posted Marquez flattening.keyword being looked
years later after Floyd manny would go onto 7-5 Keith
A top 3 win of manny
Floyd was older and more done than manny does when they fought!
